SSR bus stop moved at Epcot

I noticed last night that the SSR bus stop at Epcot has been moved. It's now #2 instead of #5 (or was it 4?). Same basic area as the old stop, just a little extra walking down the same path.

The change seems to have been made to accommodate a new bus stop for service from Epcot to TTC. Previously, the only way to get between MK and Epcot was the monorail. It makes me wonder if people were refusing to ride the monorail because of the accident, or if was just a capacity issue. In either case, there wasn't anyone in that line while we stood there.

I can tell you exactly when this happened. It was the week Kidani Village opened. We were there the last week of april to the first week of May. The first week it was in the old spot, the next week it had been moved to it's new location. (the old AKL location) We were told that this was because Kidani had opened and they needed to change the route a little. Don't know if this was the reason or not, but what we were told.

We were there in April and you are right, it was number 4 or 5. We went a few weeks ago, and I knew something was strange having to walk to the other side of that parking lot (although we had a screaming, fussy, biting, tantrumy two year old we were carrying so that made the walk a bit longer).

I'm not remembering the exact bus stop numbers, but the first time I noticed a change was in January when we were there for the Marathon. Prior to that, the SSR stop was in the middle section of stops. In January, I know we walked all the way to the furthest section. Quite a few of us in the group commented on it.
