We (me, dh, dd16, dd8, dd4) stayed at SSR for the first time the week between Christmas and New Year's. I am absolutely in love with this resort. The grounds are beautiful and it is very convenient to DTD and the parks. We did have a car this trip, and the parking was convenient to our room. We used the buses to go to MK and did not have excessive waits coming or going.
We stayed in the Springs, close to a bus stop and the main building/pool. I would also love to stay in the Congress Park area, because the view is awesome.
I was very surprised by how much I loved SSR. My DH loves it so much I will probably have a hard time convincing him to stay anywhere else!
