Does anyone know the current price per point to add on at SSR if you purchase directly thru Disney? Also, we've never done an add on, can you pick the UY you want??

I don't know the current price from Disney. But I have done a couple of add-ons. When you do an add-on, then the points will have the same UY as your current contract. The add-on will appear as a subcontract to your current contract.

In order to get a new UY, you will need to purchase a new master contract (160 pts). However, if you go that route, please be aware that you will have 2 totally separate contracts with no links between them. That means that you can't share points between them without doing a transfer.

I would call your Guide. The number of points that you purchase determines which deal you get which may be changing tomorrow.

We just added 50 points on at Ssr on Friday, and it was $99.00 per point. We have the same use year as our other points.

We just added on also and it was $99 per point. The actual cost was $112 a point but they give you a $650 developer Credit that makes it $99 a point.

Thanks so much for all the information.... I was thinking of doing a resale thru a 3rd party because the price per point is lower, but I'm tired of waiting for an exact match for my UY and the amount of points I want. I'm calling my DVC Sales Person tomorrow. Thanks again! FANOFDSNY

Currently at SSR add-ons are $13 off on 50 - 99 pts, $19 off on 100 - 124 pts, $21 off on 125+ points and there is possibility (according to Sharing the Magic booklet presently being received by members) that with add-ons of 100 or more points it may also get you 3 night cruise incentive as well but be advised it isn't ~clear~ if cruise incentive is combinable with $ off per point so you'll want to discuss that with your guide.
