Ssr @ $79???

I saw a post referring to SSR being sold for $79. Is this correct? I thought the discount went $89 less $5 = $84. Did something change recently?

My credit card was just hit for an add-on deposit so my waitlist came through at BW (August UY). We have been on the list since mid-December. Just wondering if we are paying $84 or $79?

I think the $79 per point was from a little while ago. Originally, SSR was being sold for $89 a point with a $10 point discount, making it $79. I think the incentive is $5/point off now.

The discount for SSR is the $5 or, if you want to give back your first year's points, then $10- and that would make it $79.

SSR is selling for $89/point. Currently there is a $5 discount. Originally there was a $10 discount. There is no offer to rent back (magical beginnings) at this time.

Add ons at other resorts are priced at $84/point. You can rent back your first years points for $10/point.

woops. I had old info. Someone just posted that they bought yesaterday and were offered either $5 off with this years points or renting back the 2004 points for $10 off. Sorry.

I'm new at this, but let me tell you what I was offered today at Saratoga Springs. $79/point if I do not use my points this year ($10 discount, but I still have to pay a prorated maintenance fees - I believe about 7 months worth), or $85/point if I decide to use my points this year. I believe this is exactly what has already been said, but in "non DVC experts" words.
