CLUE #1: Coupons, Specials and Discounts from Sunshine Rewards

You found the first clue in the Scavenger Hunt!!

Albums and CDs by the Fab Four, the boys from Liverpool, can be found at Amazon.com. But to find the right ones, you'll need to know that Lyndon B. Johnson was the president
for most of these years. (Hint: You are looking for a single album title--but it is not the name of the song!)

==================

LBJ served 1963–69

A Hard Day's Night ...........July 10, 1964
St Peppers: ....................June 1, 1967
Yellow Submarine.............January 13, 1969

That is the three that I am down to...haven't taken a guess yet. Anyone find anymore clues?

I took the clue to mean that you should look for songs that were released between 1963-1969 and I looked up beatles albums (when they were released) to check to see what songs from the cluelist were on albums from that time frame. I was able to eliminate only 5 songs this way. did anyone else take it this way??/

Pamela

ps....I have not had my icecoffee yet, so please excuse my 'caffene deprived' mind if I am messing this up!!!:coffee:

Anyone could be right.

I also read that it is a single album title, so that really eliminates you down to those three.

Clue 1: There is one complilation album out there that covers several years, and almost all of those years are years that LBJ was in office. I found the album on Amazon and was able to eliminate 2 that way.

Clue 2: The song was a number 1 hit. Well, if you're a Beatles fan, you know there is an album that has all their number 1 hits on it. I found the listing of the songs on that album and eliminated 2 more that way.

Down to 10 songs to guess from, think I'll wait for the third clue as I always guess to early and guess wrong :)

For the first clue you are looking for a SINGLE album/cd

Johnson was president from 63-68

1962-1966 by the Beatles. THAT is the album.

Go through the 26 songs and cross off the ones that are NOT on SR list. You should end up with 12.

2nd Clue is up!!

If you eliminated 4 songs you should have 10 left. There were 14 songs sto start.

I eliminated 4 songs as well from clues #1 & #2.

Actually, Beatles 62-66 is a DOUBLE album (two vinyl discs) and was released way after the group broke up in 69.

If you take this to mean a single ALBUM title (not a single song or "45" as we called them) there are really only three - Yellow Submarine, Sgt. Pepper, and Hard Day's Night.

Of course, your mileage may vary....but my guess was one of those three (the one with the title song that appeared on the Beatles' ONE album!).

You read more into the first clue than was intended. That is why they directed you to Amazon to find the album they were talking about. And it is the Red Album. After clue 1 you have 12, after clue 2 you have 10, after clue 3 you should have 6.

I did go to Amazon, but it wasn't helpful. And knowing that the red album (62-66) is a DOUBLE album, I dismissed it. The clue clearly states single.

May I call foul? <g>

Someone tell me where the clues are please. I can never find them! And by the way I think it was not meant the way the OP thinks it is. That would have eliminated way too many off the first clue, and that is not the way this game has been played in the past.

Gosh, I've been out of it lately ... I didn't even realize there was a new scavenger hunt  I didn't have time to research the clues so I just took a guess. If only work didn't get in the way of my RPs. :rotfl:
