Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

Not big fan of AK, but looks like you guys were having fun

Might have to try that pretzel

Parker is so cute :goodvibes

We liked Nemo too. Of course FOTLK is a family favorite. I'm going to have to find those pretzels. I love me some jalapenos!

Parker is such a cutie. I bet everyone around him was watching him play.

Looks like a great time! Make me want to make a trip to AK just for the shows. I won't be able to do the rides this next trip.

Man, that's a lot of shows.....both Nemo and Lion King, plus ITTBAB.
yeah it was nice, it just sort of worked out for us that morning good timing.

I found those pretzels back by Kali River Rapids in the summer of '09. I thought they were okay...obviously not as blown away by them as you were.
these were ones that were over on the path to nemo by the entrance...they were withing sight line, and we had to scarf it down before we went in.

i bet you would like it with a cold bud light lime.
;)

I like how in this picture it looks like you were at a rock concert with people's hands in the air and everything.
it does look likee that i just noticed that.

Great update, Dan. I love Parker playing Peek-a-Boo. You can see his outgoing personality.
it was fun it kept us all entertained while the show was getting ready to start.
We've not done Nemo yet...but hope to do it this trip (we did see Lion King for the first time last year and really enjoyed it).

Have a great weekend.
i think you will enjoy it the songs are really good as well.

I do not consider myself a big "show" person but I like Nemo and well I think you know how I feel about FOLK - you should have gotten a better picture of the tumble monkeys. :rotfl:
well i did have a few of YOUR tumble monkeys but i didnt want to get you to excited :rolleyes1
I may have to try the pretzel. Jalepenos are moving over to the like list after being on the too hot for list for a long time.
i think you will be okay candi is not a huge jalepeno fan and she liked it, i think you should try it.

Have I mentioned what a cutie Parker is lately??? :cool2:
i think but is okay you can say it again.
Loved the peek a boo pix !!!
I went to Pizzafari in 2009 and had A HOT ITALIAN!!!!:rotfl2:
are we still talking about the sandwhich?
:rotfl:

I may have to try that pretzel one of these days, it gets a lot of rave reviews!!!!! That IS a lot of shows in one day but it does sound like a lot of fun and perfect for the crew you had with you.
just dont read glenns review, he didnt like it.

it worked out good, and it was perfect for us, since we couldnt go on the big rides with parker.

I admit, I'd have never thought to get a sandwich at pizzasafari, I didn't even realize they had them. Obviously I've never been there.

:rotfl:
i think you guys would like it it is decorated pretty good in there.

it really isnt a long park for us either, but we still go, but we never stay that late, this visit we did stay the longest of any time though.

i bet you would like it sharky. good eats.

i dont think FOTLK ever gets old, it is alot of fun, i think i could see it every day and not get old, it is just put together very well

he has a nack for entertaining people.

are you saying you are pregnant?

did i know this?

Great update.
I love the Peek a Boo pictures!

I did not know about the jalapeno stuffed pretzel until after our trip & I was reading about it on another TR. I was so bummed that I didn't get one. I know I would LOVE it!!!

Next time, it will be on my list to get for the 1st time too!

Still getting caught up. Sorry to hear of the loss of your grandfather. Glad you had recent opportunities to make more memories together despite living so far away. I'm sure your grandmother is looking forward to more hands on time with the grandkids, especially with that new baby on the way. I would suggest august 9 as an alternate birthdate, but that's probably pushing it for being too early. That's my youngest boys birthday. He will turn 18 at Disney world this year.:thumbsup2

Love your strategy of talking Parker through the scary parts of the shows. We used to do that with ryne....instead of keeping his eyes closed through haunted mansion and pirates we would try to look for puppies and kitties. He would be so intent looking for and counting animals he would forget to be scared of some of the other stuff going on.

I can't imagine how the cute factor of your family is going to rise when you add a baby to such an already good looking family!:cutie:

Great UPDATE! IT'S nice Parker isn't afraid. DGS hated any of the dark shows
he did good on that trip with them, but anymore dark areas like that he isnt too sure....we have to coach him through them, but even then ne isnt sure right now.

Brand spanking new. And a little surprising. We go on Tuesday for the first appointment.
thats awesome, did you say it on your TR and i missed it.

good luck at the apointment.:thumbsup2

thanks, i think you will like it, they had a really good flavor.

You realise that was how the whole HOT ITALIAN started !!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
:sad2:

to think what if you went somewhere else for lunch that day, what would your obsession be then.

thank you, she is excited to move up here.

i think the 9th would be a little early. i think marv has a better shot on the 20th.:)

i didnt realize there were dogs and cats in there? i guess i never looked for them.

thanks, im sure everyone will forget about us when the baby is born...just like when parker was.

Nope. This is the first time I am saying anything. It is funny, because I was commenting on your report on how many presents were under the tree at your Christmas and mine was pretty empty. You told me that there was always this year, I guess my tree will have more gifts under it :rotfl:

I am a little embarrassed to admit that we've never been to ANY of the shows at AK, and we were going to see the bird show but missed it b/c we were on a different ride..

I think we're going to really need to plan on seeing one or heck ALL of them if June 2012 is as hot as June 2010 was!!

:lmao:

so, when do "we" find out if Candi has a boy or girl on board??? and you're going to tell us right?? :)

well an official congrats, and thanks for announcing it on my report.

see i knew there will plenty more for baby this next year.
:thumbsup2
:rotfl2: Yeah, that's what it was missing! Actually, they probably would go well together.
sadly i dont think we could try them together as i dont think they sell those in the parks, and i dont know where i could get that pretzel outside the parks.

i guess there is only one thing to do.

smuggle a bud light lime into AK:yay:

well the shows in AK are sort of a natural thing for us, as we really do not care for dinosaur as it gives candi a headache that type of ride simulator moving back and forth that quickly.
(ps and t rex scares me)

and we have rode EE, but it just seems that if we didnt do the shows the park would be a much shorter day for us than it already is...i still dont think it really is a full day park. cant wait for there expansion.

well we can find out in about 5 more weeks...she is 16 weeks right now, and the ultrasound is scheduled for about 21 weeks.

we are leaning toward finding out this time around, but as far as telling everyone we are not sure. might have to keep it a secret.
:rolleyes1

You needed a new mission...that sounds like a good one. Make sure it's a Bud Light Lime, no substitutions.

Super fun update, Dan!!! I got me one of those "tastiest snacks EVER!" as well. OMGosh, they make me drool just thinking about them!!

You really had some good touring going! Catching both shows in one day is great!

See, on the other hand EE scares my family but they're willing to do T-Rex!! :confused3 However, the first year we rode it (2009) the picture of us on the ride showed my oldest scrunched down in the chair hiding from the dinosaur!! This past year, we all did better, but it wasn't our favorite - I could skip it..:rolleyes1

I think we did Khali twice and the Safari twice and we went out to Rafiki's wilderness place - you know, the one by train..and my boys LOVED IT! Especially the "touch and feel" part inside - there was a huge snake and a guy with skulls and you had to guess the animal...and then he brought out the fake poop and you had to guess which animal "left it"...

:scared1: BUT boys being boys thought it was great....

and you could SO sneak in a bud light lime - you have kid(s) - just pour it in a sippy cup - just make sure you dont get yours and Parker's mixed up!! :lmao:

He knew before you did? :scared1: j/k:rotfl2:

I did that to someone once. I have an employee who is ONLY sick when she is pregnant. After her first child, months later she complained she did not feel well. I joked a bit and said she must be pregnant. About a week later she came back to me and asked how I knew. :rotfl2:

DAWA BAR - Bet you can find one there.
