Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

Yes. They warn you with babies not to feed them too much carrots and sweet potatoes because the carotene in them could change their skin color in excess. But I think it would take a lot, over a long period of time.

:rotfl::rotfl: This happend to me when I was six. I would watch Bugs Bunny and munch away. I turned orange!!! That's all that happens.

Oh you just think I'll forgive you that easily don't you!!! :guilty:

I know you will because you can't be mad at me because you adore me.
no we know that marv will forgive easy, because he cant afford to have us against him.pirate:

really:eek: what did you eat to turn you back to your normal color?

Ya just have to lay off the carrots for awhile. :lmao:
I just reminded my mom about this. She was laughing her head off.

so its not like the super hero movies where you glow a color, your skin just turned.

but think how cool it would have been if you actually glowed.

might have to try that on the baby when it gets here?
:rolleyes1

Chapter 34. Two AK firsts.

So what could possible be at AK that we have never done before.

well on the way to the one item, we passed a food cart...being later morning and getting a little hungry, but not time for lunch yet, we stopped.

candi got a fruit type ice cream bar. and i said i was going to opt for a jalapeno stuffed pretzel (a first for me)

let me tell you this thing was awesome. candi tried to steal many bits from me, and i allowed her a few, but not that many. it was prob. one of the best pretzels that I have ever had. it was not too much heat, just the right amount and ohh was it good.

we didnt even let parker see we had it for fear he would want a bit.

it is on my list to get every trip from here on out.

well where was this cart you may ask, it was on the way to the nemo show, (the 2nd first for us)
we have never seen this show.

i dont know if we have just always thought it was not good or what but we saw it this time.

parker played a game of peek a boo with the guy behind us before the show started.

the peek,

this is the best picture of the show that i got.

what did we think of the show, well we really like it, it was put together well, and kept all of our interests.

afterwards it was lunch time and even though we had the snacks we were hungry.

we love this lunch spot and stopped there again.

this is what we had.
DSC02347.jpg

candi pizza to share with parker, and she also shared my sandwhich, mom salad, and dad looks like a sandwhich as well.

Lesson learned: dont get your hopes up and set that a certain desert will always be there, they did not carry our frozen lemonade deserts here anymore so we had to go with something else (candi was upset as it is her favorite but i remided it later on)

we get our picture here every year.
DSC01723.jpg

yep it was now time to be a bug.

bug training time for parker.
DSC01724.jpg

Lesson learned here:
keep talking to your kids during the shows that are dark like this and tell them how silly the characters are, (like the giant hopper) and not scarry and they will be fine.

after we headed over to camp minnie mickey, and saw FOTLK...parker really enjoyed it...

and since everyone has seen many pics of this show before, i will only show one.

DSC01737.jpg

when the show was over parker skipped and jumped out of the theater.

i was going to keep going, but apparently, my photopass CD is not with me. :sad2:

so until next time.

i hope everyone has a good weekend...

Man, that's a lot of shows.....both Nemo and Lion King, plus ITTBAB.

I found those pretzels back by Kali River Rapids in the summer of '09. I thought they were okay...obviously not as blown away by them as you were.

I like how in this picture it looks like you were at a rock concert with people's hands in the air and everything.

this is the best picture of the show that i got.

Great update, Dan. I love Parker playing Peek-a-Boo. You can see his outgoing personality.

We've not done Nemo yet...but hope to do it this trip (we did see Lion King for the first time last year and really enjoyed it).

Have a great weekend.

I do not consider myself a big "show" person but I like Nemo and well I think you know how I feel about FOLK - you should have gotten a better picture of the tumble monkeys. :rotfl:

I may have to try the pretzel. Jalepenos are moving over to the like list after being on the too hot for list for a long time.

Have I mentioned what a cutie Parker is lately??? :cool2:

I may have to try that pretzel one of these days, it gets a lot of rave reviews!!!!! That IS a lot of shows in one day but it does sound like a lot of fun and perfect for the crew you had with you.

I admit, I'd have never thought to get a sandwich at pizzasafari, I didn't even realize they had them. Obviously I've never been there.

:rotfl:
