Spyware interferes with Microsoft patch

I don't plan to download this patch but how do I avoid it in the future? Won't it HAVE to be downloaded at some point like when I want to download another patch, this one will be automatically included OR this one will be required to be done before any others?

Ugh. They really should fix this stuff before putting it out.

yeah, eventually you'll have to download it. it will be included the next time microsoft releases an os, for example.

it actually causes a bunch of other conflicts too. my webmail client doesn't work anymore as a result of sp2.

I saw that HUGE list of things it could cause conflicts with. That's why I decided to not download it.

The nerve of them to call this a "patch" when clearly, it's more of a "disaster". LOL
