Wasn't sure where to post. I have been looking around for info. on planning my ds 1st WDW trip, It's not for a couple of years though. But today I found out that we might be able to go in the next few months. Sept/Oct. I have not a clue where to start. So I could really use the help of the WDW experts Which month would you prefer?
What about codes?(not sure what they are or how to get them) Any info. you can lend to help me on my way?
Would love to stay at the Poly(with a castle view I know it's not gaurenteed) although, being that this is kind of spur of the moment, not sure if we can afford it. But the idea of monorail access with a toddler sure would be nice!

The longer you wait to go (in your time frame) the better the weather should be.....less hot....less humid....possiblity of afternoon showers lessens. Also Oct has the Food & Wine Festival and Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party.

There are discount codes available for September and MANY of us are patiently waiting for October codes, which should come out within the next two weeks I suggest a visit to the "resorts board". And you are right, a monorail hotel with toddlers is VERY convenient.

if you can't afford the poly and still want to stay at a monorail hotel, i might suggest the CR. We got a great rate there for September, maybe they will have october ones too!

we prefer to go when it's not the epcot food/wine festival so september is our favorite month to go. you may get some rain but it's a welcome trade for me instead of the blinding heat in summer and the bigger crowds come october.

some of the best trips we've planned were spur of the moment...now i hate planning trips more than 2 months in advance! have a great time!
