Because of Vero Beach reconstruction for our trip in February, we got out our old annual pass vouchers and cashed them in for a WDW vacation. Since we have the annual passes, and because I saw a great mid-week air fare, we just said should we, shouldn't we, yes lets do it. Of course, less than one month away, only SSR was available for all 6 nights. Then we remembered about our first annual neighborhood garage sale that weekend (this weekend) so I put the reservation on the rent/trade board for 1300.00. We are thanking our lucky stars that it didn't sell because we are having the time of our lives. We are in Congress Park 3rd floor studio. Close enough to the quiet pool and bus stop. Right outside the elevator. This morning we took a walk to check out the ferry. I am surprised how close we are to the ferry and LBV golf, and the carriage house! This place is really beautiful.

We stayed at SSR last summer and also thought it was very beautiful. I had heard many negative things about this resort, but we totally loved it. I would definitely stay there again. We had the most beautiful view from our room and the grounds were beautiful. We loved walking to DTD and taking the ferry boat. Glad to hear that you are enjoying the resort also!

Walt Disney loved horses. He was a great polo player. Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is a reflection of him. He would be proud of it. The theme is perfectly elegant. Of all of the Vacation Club Resorts, it is equal to the Grand Floridian because of it's chosen theme and decor.

SSR does take a beating at times on the Boards. It is so large and spread out but for any of us who have ever lived in a housing addition, suburb its not that uncommon to what we call "our neighborhood". SSR is beautifull and tho noone can speak for Uncle Walt, I would think he would love it as well. Shawnpirate:
