Chapter 6: forget about it

Wednesday, July 6
Woke up at 7:00. We decided to skip our 7:30 Cape May breakfast and went back to sleep. Woke up again at 8:00, and took advantage of the situation - princesses sleeping, we got dressed and headed to Epcot. I let the older princesses know, no complaints from them, they went right back to sleep. We rode Soarin twice and then headed back to get the princesses dressed. Next we headed down to Beaches and Cream for lunch. Yum. The six of us couldnt finish the kitchen sink.
After lunch Flora and Fauna decided to go back to Epcot and finish their Kidcot masks. Moose and I take Grumpy and Imp to the pool. Imp loves the sandy shallow pool, where she proceeds to make everyone look at what I can do! 50 times, diving down and swimming for 5 seconds. When she started stalking the other little girls in the pool I had to reign her in. Hi! Whats your name? Hi! Whats your name? Look what I can do. Come over here and meet my mommy. She has no self esteem issues whatsoever.
We all meet back at the room and I have the bright idea to go to MGM. I wanted Grumpy to meet the Power Rangers, her idols. No one wants to go but me. Of course, when we get there, its too late to meet the Power Rangers. Oops. Well we get to watch the parade, again.
I look over and Moose has Imp on his shoulders. I flash back to 4 years ago when he carried Grumpy on his shoulders to watch parades. This is the last time I will probably get to see this sight. Misty-eyed, I express my sadness to Moose. Sweating profusely, but grinning and bearing it, he says, We are not having any more, forget about it.
Back to the room for sandwiches and then we head over to the marina for our Illuminations Cruise. Imp and Grumpy both had a turn driving. Flora starts talking about how she has a camel bladder. She only has to go to the bathroom twice a day. This discussion naturally leads to the bathroom issues we had with my friends kid.
Flora - She pees more than a pregnant woman!
The cruise was great. The best part was when our driver asked Imp to help her blow out the big torch right at the beginning of Illuminations. They practiced for a few minutes and then when that part came up in the show they blew it out together. Very cute. The driver had seen Illuminations so many times, she had the timing down perfectly.
We actually made it back to our room early, 9:35 p.m. Another magical day.
