Chapter 2: No Princess Pictures

Saturday, July 2nd
It is way too early to try and wake up princesses, but that is my mission. We are traveling with 4 princesses, and they are not cooperating. I have to wrestle them out of bed and listen to the complaints. Complaints what are you kidding me? You are in the happiest place on earth and YOU WILL GET UP AND ENJOY IT. Ok, Ill admit, not my best moment, but they did get up.
Clothes, shoes, hair, suntan lotion, sunglasses. Ready. We make it to the castle in record time, not even struggling with the biometric system. This is going to be great.
Food was good, waiter was good, Cinderella sucked, and I mean that in the most affectionate way. She was indifferent and seemed bothered to be there. I think she may have even rolled her eyes at me. I didnt actually see it, but I felt it. It didnt help when my sweet child, Grumpy, crossed her arms, stuck out her lip and pronounced, No princess pictures.
Great, we have 4 more princess meals this week.
Fortunately, the other princesses were in a better mood. Wendy was the best. We also saw Aurora, Belle and Mary Poppins.
After breakfast we did Fantasyland, rode Haunted Mansion, and took the train back to the front of the park. We went back to our resort and swam for a little bit. Then headed back to the Contemporary for dinner at Chef Mickeys. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Donald were in attendance.
At this point we were joined by another family, bumping our party number up to 11. Mom2 (34), Dad2 (51) Sister1(19) Sister2(11) and Sister3(7). We had the best dinner ever because we were loud and rowdy. Goofy signed Floras book on her head and stuck her pen in her hair. Later he came back and put sprinkles on her head, and then laughed at himself for 10 minutes. (Goofy actually showed up while she was in the bathroom and showed us the sprinkles in his hand. When she came back we were ready, she was completely surprised.) Soon after that Donald stomped up to our table because Flora had pulled his tail. It was the best Chef Mickeys dinner ever.
We left Chef Mickeys (before we could be thrown out) and took the monorail to the Poly. We watched the fireworks from the beach, but alas there was no music piped in.
Biggest mistake of the week riding the monorail back to Magic Kingdom to catch the bus after the fireworks. What was I thinking?
All in all still a magical day.
