Chapter 1: I see people!

Friday, July 1st, continued
After lunch at All Star Music we head to MGM.
While Moose obtains the stroller, I go to guest services. I thought it would be a good idea to get a hard copy of all of our reservations. The girl actually laughed at me when she saw the list, shes not nice like Faiza. Do you want only the ones for July, or would you like me to print out the ones for August and October also? Just July , thank you. Im not going to print out all the changes you made, just the current reservations. Ok, that sounds like a great idea.
When she finally prints out the list, she proceeds to go over everything on it with me. She is explaining where all the meals are, at which park, etc. I tell her, thanks I know where they all are but she insists. No worries, Ill just smile and listen to her spiel.
It really got out of control when she insisted on reading me the new menu for Garden Grill, the entire menu, including appetizer and dessert. Apparently she is not too happy with the new menu and wanted to make sure we are ok with it.
After I break free from her grip, Rock-n-Roller Coaster is calling our names. Next we see Beauty and the Beast, very nice, even without air conditioning. Then we go to Little Mermaid. We were sitting too close apparently, because my dear sweet Grumpy shouts, I see people! Yes, Grumpy, the fish are puppets. Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us happily pretending theyre real.
Later a great dinner at Hollywood and Vine and its finally time for Fantasmic. We go to Oscars and walk to our seats. This is great. We are all sweaty and exhausted, but its ok, cause we are going to see Fantasmic. By 8:00 we are in our seats, by 8:15 we see the clouds rolling in. We pull out our ponchos, no worries. Ive been to Florida before. It will rain hard and fast and be clear in plenty of time for Fantasmic. Well, it rained hard and fast and cleared and then the lightening started.
After the third, Due to the unique nature of this show Fantasmic may be delayed announcement, people started to boo. 15 minutes into the delay, a group to our right starts the wave. At least we can have fun while we wait and sweat. Well, it was fun for about 5 minutes anyway. 9:30 p.m., Fantasmic starts. Wow. So glad we stayed. Even Imp, who has been whining non-stop for the past two hours, admits, Thats the best show I ever saw!
The bus ride home was horrible, but its ok because we are in Disney World and had a magical day.
