We just booked a week at the springhill suites at the Marriott Village for May 31-June 7 and was wondering about the room size. We booked the King Suite since I figured we would get a crib for my 2 year old and my 5 year old would more than likely sleep in bed with us. I love that the rooms are kind of seperate, even with a half wall seperating them I think that will help a lot at bed time! I've read some reviews though and it sounds like the double/double suite might be bigger, anyone know for sure? On the website it says there are all 420 sq. ft. And what is the kitchenette area like, is there a counter area or is it just a microwave and refrig. right in with the dresser?

Double Doubles are definitely larger, but you should still be fine as far as room goes, especially if your 5 yr. old wants to share the bed. When you first walk in there is a sink/bar area, desk, fold out sofa and coffe table and usually a reading chair. Opposite the sofa is the perfect area to set up the pack-n-play. It will give the baby his/her own quiet space at night, and around the corner from the bed you'll be sleeping in. We've done this lots of times with our little one (now out of the crib) and it worked great. If you go with the double-double you'll have a little more square footage usually, in the bed area. This is a nice hotel and don't forget you can pool hop to all three of the pools in the Marriott Village. The one at the Courtyard is the nicest. HTH

I agree - double/doubles will be a bit larger. We stayed in one in December at Springhill and thought it was great.
The kitchenette has a worktop, a small fridge and some cupboard space. If you're planning to make food up I'd suggest bringing some cutlery, plates, bowls etc as there's nothing provided (or you could take these from the breakfast room as we did).
There's also a desk and chair, sleeper sofa and relaxer chair in the room, so plenty of space to relax.

Thanks, sounds great! This will be our first time staying offsite, but all the reviews for this hotel sound really good so I'm sure we won't be dissapointed! Anyone know if there are two tv's in the king suite room?

There is only one TV, in both styles of room (double/double or K). It sits kind of between the two areas and swivels, so can be viewed either in the bed area or couch area.
