Springhill Suites LBV - Best Rooms?

Not long now before we depart for the Springhill Suites at LBV.

Can anyone who has stayed here advise me whether all the rooms are the same at this hotel or is it worthwhile asking for a particular room.

If the rooms are all the same, is there any particular area or side of the hotel thats better than another. I seem to recall a post when I first did my research into this hotel that stated one side overlooked the I4 and could get noisy, but the search facility is disabled at the mo.

we stayed in this hotel last august and have booked again for this august. I emailed the hotel and asked to overlook the pool, when we arrived the room did overlook the pool. Unforunaely we felt the room was no big enough for us, we have 3 boys ages 16 14 and 10. We asked at reception if we could buy another room,they were very good and showed us different rooms.We eventually got two interconnecting rooms overlookin the disabled parking area. The exra room cost us $50 per night which we had not expected to have to do but for us it was worth it.So when you arrive it may be worth asking for a different room if you do not like the one provided.

The hotel is lovely we enjoyed the breakfast and would always ask for a bag to fill with fruit and cakes for the parks. I know thats cheeky but everyone seemedto do this!

We are going again this year and will probably ask for another room depending on the room rate charge.When we booked wih Thomas Cook to book he extra room was very expensive so we will wait and see.
