Spring Training Game

We'll be at WDW while the Atlanta Braves are in Spring Training. Big baseball fans and thinking of catching a game at Disney Sports Complex. How do we get from our Resort (BLT) to Sports? (no car this trip) Thx

I would hope that Disney has a bus dedicated for WWS once the Games start happening!

I'd be surprised if Disney provides bus transportation from resorts to the Braves spring training venue. My experience is that the fans at the games don't come mostly from Disney hotels. They sell seasons tickets like any other spring training venue and single game tickets are pre-sold through Ticketmaster. I usually see local people, lot's of retirees from Georgia, other Braves fans and a good smattering of folks who follow the "away" team who aren't necessarily in the area for anything other the games.

So, if I'm right about Disney providing tranportation for the benefit of another corporation (the Braves), then you'd have to find your way by taxi. I'd call your hotel to find out if you should expect Disney transportation.

The ballpark is a really nice facility. Enjoy the game.

To get from your resort to the sports complex you need to take the bus that goes to Hollywood studios. Once you get there when everyone else is heading to the entrance of the park take a right and head towards the parking lot for the tour buses and once through the fence go to the right and you will find the bus stop for the sports complex!!

there should be a sign for the sports complex stop if not its the last one on the right!! IF you have any questions ask at the bus info back by resort bus drop off the turquouise building

While the PP is correct (BLT to DHS to WWos) this can be a very time consuming process. The buses run every 20 minutes (-ish). You may want to take a cab from BLT to WWOS.

It does take a while we did it last year when the Red Sox played Atl.

Actually there is a dedicated bus that runs back and forth between HS and WWoS every day of the year, till 8:00 PM.

Sorry, but there has been some big changes made to the buses that go to WWoS, since I last posted. These new changes will begin 2/21/10, before the Braves Spring Training begins.

With the new change, if you still plan to take the bus to WWoS, I would suggest walking over to MK and getting on the ASSports bus or the POP bus and then switching to the WWoS bus there.

If you don"t want to do any walking take the HS bus from BLT, then switch to the POP bus and then switch again to the WWoS bus.
