Does the discount get taken off at the end of booking? It shows the rate as the standard nightly rate...does it take the extra 35% off after you enter the code?

If you go to the special offers page and then to the Spring Room discount page, there is a link at the bottom that takes you to a separate booking window.

You have to click on the icon on the bottom of Disney website saying value resorts as low as $68 or something like that. Then click the get started button.

If you call use code RYD. The computers at Disney have been down not sure if they are back up yet.

You'll never see a Disney resort for $37. That is how much you might save. $68 is an excellent price for a value resort during regular season. I'd grab it and run if I still needed a room.

No. The AP prices are just a little less.

AP Value = $64 and $74 (weekends)
GP Value = $68 and $78 (weekends)

AP rates for OKW and SSR are $159 for Friday and Saturday nights
GP rates for OKW and SSR are $169 for Friday and Saturday nights

If you plan to buy an AP only for the discount, then it's probably not a good idea. However, if you're a long time AP holder (like us), then you should stick to the AP rates.

I was able to use this discount for my trip 6-3 to 6-7 at POFQ. I had posted before that I was not able to get the AP discount on the weekends by calling Disney. Although I am excited I got the deal, it is a slap in the face for AP holders. I saved $160.00 more than the AP discount I had since the weekends were discounted with this deal. Does Disney really have any idea what they are doing??

I called and changed my ressie for 5/15-5/19 and added the "deal"

I had to change from POP to All-Star Movies but saved $170 by doing so. No rooms left at POP with the discount for my dates. I figure this will pay for our QSDP (1adult and 1 child) for all 4 nights. I was really hoping to avoid All-Stars but its a lot of money especially since it is a quick trip.

No slap in the face here. BUt I checked your dates on the AP website, and yes indeed, there are discounts for your stay at the AP rate, so you could've saved more money had you booked with them:

I just saved nearly 200.00 on my solo trip at the end of April with RYD.

I did switch my resort from POFQ to POR but for 200.00 savings, I'm cool with that.

Thanks for the info. Since I don't yet have my AP, I cannot check the AP site. I called yesterday and it was not available. Looks like they released more discounted rooms today.

Edited to add--I just called and saved 45.00 more dollars using the AP code. Thanks so much for the info. It is driving me crazy not being able to access the AP site to check the prices. And, I must apologize to Disney for the slap in the face remark!

I was able to use this code for my upcoming solo trip April 17-20th which is a Friday- Monday.. I went online and it said Sun- Thursday night but when I put my dates in it showed a lessor price.. I called and the CM did an adjustment for me.. I saved $151.89!!
