Spring in the air, tears in my eyes, oh my will I survive this ride!?!-pg 6&7, 10/22

I love EMH at the MK! You can get SOOOO much done it's crazy! What a fun morning, love the long list of "never dones" Everyone looks like they are having a blast, seems like a perfect morning to me. It is always funny when I see folks pictures at the bus stop and it's still dark out! Amazing that you missed the show and left that early.

I've still never seen the opening show.

What a great morning at MK! I have never taken a ride in any of the Main Street vehicles, I gotta put that on my list!

Wow - looks like early EMH really paid off for you in a big way. There is NO ONE in that park! Amazing. I never seem to be able to get there at 8am because I always run in the morning. I've got to try an early EMH in October, which might mean no adult beverages the night before. :rotfl:

That is such a great picture of Tom on Dumbo.

I love the picture of the three of you riding up Main street. :thumbsup2

Marc and I rode on that very seat when we rode the trolly for the first time last Spring Break. It was our first time too!
Harper, Brooklynn, and Baylor couldn't get enough of the Barnstormer either when we were back in July!
In fact Harper would have preferred to go to MK everyday just to ride it!

We had such a blast that morning at EMHs. I was sooo impressed at what we did.

The bus mojo wasn't working that morning at the BW. We waited forever for a bus. I think that is why we missed the opening show. It was still great timing as we probably would have missed the trolley if we were any earlier.

I do love the opening show. It is lots of fun to see. You will have to try to see it.

It was lots of fun. You definitely have to give it a try!

I always say I am going to get up early and go walk and it never happens. I wish I had your determination. I am usually up early but never do it. :confused3

It was a great morning in the park. It was the only way to beat the crowds this trip as it was very busy.

Tom was as excited about Dumbo as Jeremy and I was. It was too cute. I love that he gets Disney as much as we do now. He didn't in the beginning. :sad2:

I remember that on FB! It is sooo much fun and a great way to start your day in the park.

Later on in the week Jeremy does the Barnstormer 7-8 times in a row. The CM's loved him there. If no one was in line, they would just let him stay on and keep going. It was great! :thumbsup2

Ooo...did you get over to the Grand Floridian? I was so surprised when we saw the display there - had no idea that it was even there.

Looks like y'all got lots done during the EMH - gotta love no lines! We have never done the horse/trolley either - might have to work on that for next time!

Wow, what a great morning!! I love the Magic Kingdom before it gets too crowded! :goodvibes:

Love your sons smile. It just lights up his entire face! He sounds like a great kiddo! Congratulations to you, your husband and to your son on his accomplishments! It's great that his hard work got honored!

We usually do QSD and add in a TS or two during a week. There are so many great counter service choices, I hardly ever end up eating 'park staples'. Sometimes a burger just sounds good though. lol

Looking forwardto more of your adventure!

This looks like a great TR, I can't wait to read some more :cool1:

Jeremy seems like such a sweetheart, hopefully no Disney meltdowns occured! ;)

:thumbsup2 Way to go!!! You guess correctly. I had read about them just the week before so it was a must to see. They were all so pretty.

EMH were wonderful this trip. So much fun and you can really do a lot in that hour!

Thank you! We are very proud of him. He is a really good kid and doesn't give us too much grief.

I agree, there are times I crave a burger or especially, a Casey's hot dog. DH on the other hand really likes his sit down meals.

Hope to have another update tomorrow. I am heading to Columbus, OH for a meeting here in a few...

Welcome! Glad you are here! :) Jeremy is a real sweetheart, most of the time.

Luckily, I don't think there were any major meltdowns this trips....a few aggravations but no meltdowns.

I'm here! I needed a 3-day weekend to get caught up on Dis stuff! ;)

Isn't it amazing how you can drive all night and still have the energy to enjoy the parks?! Then you get that Disney nap in the afternoon and.... ahhhhhhhh!!

I am loving all of your firsts! When we have the kids, we ALWAYS try to do the morning EMH because you can jump on so many rides with no waits. Do you think you'll do them more after your wonderful MK morning?!

Can't wait to hear more firsts!!

Joining in! I LOVE the pics of Jeremy when you guys were headed out!

Wait a drive! You must have been completely and totally exhausted!!

Sounds like a nice, relaxing first day though! Is it me does the clown pool seem a little on the small side? I feel like there isn't nearly as much room around it as there is at the other resorts we've stayed at!

WOW! That EMH trip was early!! I love the pic of your DH on Dumbo though! He looks like he was having a blast!!

awe I love those Easter bunnies!!!

I was so excited to finally get to see them.

Morning EMH were a theme this trip!!! We absolutely loved them. I am sure we will do more of them in November. You can get so much done in such little time.

Love driving through the night!! You can't beat whizzing past Atlanta while it is dark.

The drive wasn't too bad. It is so much easier and faster at night then doing it during the day.

You are totally right about the clown pool. It is small compared to others. I always felt like someone was beside me at all times.

Tom was having lots of fun on Dumbo!

Life has really got in the way of my dising lately. Fifth grade has brought lots of activities and tons of homework to Jeremy which in turn means I am extremely busy. Our county fair starts next week so we have been busy finishing 4-H projects and trying to perfect an apple pie that the judges will like. My son is becoming quite the fair participant this year. I hope to show you some pretty ribbons next week as we find out how he did. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

So, I last left you with #5 of our firsts for the day--seeing the Easter Bunny.

We were leaving MK and headed to our 6th first of the day---the Easter Egg Display at the GF. I was so excited when I read about this and couldn't wait to get over and see all of them. I took a ton of pictures to share with my fellow disers so I hope you enjoy!

We spent a lot of time looking at the eggs. They were so pretty and very festive.

We were starting to get hungry so we hopped on a bus to DTD. It was now time for Tom's 7th first of the day but not a first for Jeremy and I. We were excited for him to try Earl of Sandwich and it did not disappoint. So much he asked to eat there later on in the trip. :thumbsup2 We spent some time shopping and getting Jeremy some new t-shirts. Jeremy took a spin the carousel. By the look on his face, I think he was getting tired of my picture taking.

The rest of the afternoon was spent swimming at the Boardwalk. I didn't take my camera with me so pictures.

Up Next:

An evening around the world.
Plus, will we make Morning EMH at Epcot?

Another wonderful time. Those Easter Eggs are simply beautiful. I hope they keep that display from year to year so I can catch it in person one year.

So many firsts and everyone is happy. :goodvibes

I hope you continue to make the morning EMHs

I have only read one time in all of my DIS days that someone did not like Earl. Some love it, and some like it a lot, but rarely will you hear of it not getting a thumbs up to some degree. That bread is so good, for starters, so anything you put on it is just a plus. :)

Cute decorated eggs. I have been there at Easter, but did not go to GF to see the eggs. I'll have to remember that for the next Easter trip we take.

Yeah, Jeremy looks slightly less than thrilled about the merry-go-round.

Good luck with your fair entries! :cheer2:

Ugh - Sorry I did not check you TR update before I left for work, because I would love to be able to see your pictures right now. The Easter eggs sound so neat. Can't wait to see them.

So Jeremy is getting tired of having his own personal paprazzi? Say it isn't so! :rotfl:

I hope they do as well. They were so pretty. I loved going that time of the year. The weather was just right-not too hot, not too cold. F&G really puts you in the mood for spring. I hope to get back there some time. Our vacation is soon going to be limited other than summer when Jeremy starts jr. high in 2 years. I have broached the subject to Tom about the premium annual passes but it kind of falls on deaf ears. Thanksgiving will be our last trip to Disney World as next year the boys want to go to the beach and then Disneyland. Tom is determined to make me stick with the plan. Only time will tell who wins out on that......;)

We loved the morning EMHs. So much fun and we got so much done. I am sure we will use them again in November.

Earl is a big hit with my family. :thumbsup2 I am sure there will be at least one, possibly 2 stops there every trip.

The eggs were new this year. I hope they keep them up every year as they were so pretty and very festive.

I will post on here and FB how Jeremy does at the fair. We have been practicing his apple pie for a month trying to find the right recipe. He has two projects he has been judged on. We will know the results Monday of the fair. The fair is a big deal where we live. We go every day--so much that I took the week off this year.

You have to see the pictures when you get home. They were so pretty.

Jeremy was not in the mood that day. After a point, he gets tired of me snapping away.
