I don't think it's a Florida Resident only offer. It's listed on their site for General Public offers. I'd say call back and get a different CM to change it for you.

It's available to the general public and I was able to apply it our trip and am not a resident of FL. I would try again. I had to call twice as well as the first CM told me there were no availability. The second CM found it for me in 30 seconds and I didn't even have to give her the code. I just asked for the "Spring Discount Offer".

The offer here lists the code , call back you just had the misfortune of getting an ill informed CM. When I called the first morning I mentioned the code and had no problem good luck!

Long time lurker....but glad I am. Called this morning and all I had to mention was the spring special. Took about 5 minutes, but I just saved a Grand at the Grand! (well...$1,001.24 to be exact)

This is for my mid-April solo trip, 6day/5night, King RPC room.

We want to go to WDW May 2-8. Sunday I was playing around with resorts and dates with the spring room rate special on the WDW website. It let me add the tickets, and then the dining plan. I was wondering if the site was really going to let me book a package on the room deal. There was no option to save the offer - and I didn't actually enter my credit card number - so probably not.

Anyway, I called Disney Travel to try to get some confirmation. The CM said "no, you can't book dining with the room offer but you *do* have free dining for those dates, would you like to book that?" Thinking I had finally gotten a PIN number I said "Yes!" but it was taking her forever to get it booked, so she said she had to get a supervisor to assist.

As it turns out, that offer was for Canadian residents (bummer!) but I heard someone talking to her in the background and she said that the Guest Services super was telling her that "there were good package specials opening for our dates a little later and to check back."

So there is hope!

Although the Spring Offer that was recently released is a Room Only % Discount, you can add tickets and a Dining Plan to it. In order to book the Dining Plan you must purchase 1 day base tickets for each member of your party, you can not book just the room and the DP. You can book it for packages, you must put a deposit of $200, if you book a room only the deposit is equal to one nights room rate.
You can not save offers on site for anything if it is a promotional offer, FD or Discounts.

The CM you spoke with on the phone was incorrect, if you want to book via phone call back or just book it online.

To get the Spring discount as a package:

Click the special offers on the WDW website. You'll put in your info regarding dates, resort preference & no in party. When the rates page comes up, scroll down just a bit. There is a section where they recommend tickets. Click "add these" and the page automatically reverts to say: "Spring Magic Your Way". You are then booking a package & can add dining if you want to. You can also change the tickets: more or less days, hoppers, water parks etc.

Remember not all room categories will be available with the discount at every resort. You have to go in thru the special offers page to book the package with the discount. If you go right to the "book packages" you will get more room types, but will be paying full price.

Just called today and changed my existing Christmas res to CSR in June! Hoping to get a bounceback when I am BWI in January to apply to a new trip in December. 3 trips in one year? I will take it!

Well I am super excited this morning. We had the Royal Room River View at POR booked for April. The current spring promo was only offering Garden view at POR for the last few days. But too my surprise this morning there was available RR standard view. Well I phoned and changed to a room only RR standard view and saved $430.00. Can't justify paying an extra $430.00 to look out the WINDOW at the river.....

Lucky you! I switched our ressy from a Royal Room to a Garden View the day this offer came out so we could take advantage of the savings. I would prefer the Royal Room so i will have to keep checking to see if it comes available with this promo! Congrats!

Thanks I think I was lucky yesterday morning when I checked she said that there was one room left in the RR standard view at the discount price. If I were you I would check everyday to see if it becomes availabe again. Good luck I hope you get it

Thanks I think I was lucky yesterday morning when I checked she said that there was one room left in the RR standard view at the discount price. If I were you I would check everyday to see if it becomes availabe again. Good luck I hope you get it

I kept checking back for Royal Room availablity with the Spring Code & this evening it is there! Changed our ressy to a Standard Royal Room!! I just hope my 3 boys like it as much as I do!! Thanks for the suggestion to keep checking back!

For those still looking -

Our stay is mid-May and we had switched off of the non-discounted Royal room to a standard garden view to save $400 with the discount. I checked back today and ALL classes of royal rooms are now available with the spring discount!



I called and was able to switch, with just a small increase in deposit.

So, if you want a royal room on the discount you may want to check now! (You can use the website to check availability)
