:lmao: Please forgive me if this is a crazy question. My DH just informed me that he would like to go to Disney for Spring Break THIS YEAR!! :scared1:

I am now teaching and can't travel in January :teacher: so here is my question???

I know we will need to go early and go late with a break in between to avoid the crowds. (I am so not into crowds...uugh:sad2:)

If this is CRAZY someone please tell me now, so I can tell him and move on to planning another vacation. Don't get me wrong I LOVE DISNEY...but SPRING BREAK....:scared1::scared1:

Thanks in advance!

It would be very difficult to obtain a reservation for spring break at a late date. That being said, if you are flexible with your villa size and resort, as well as dates you may have a chance.

Thanks so much for your response. What would be my next step? Do I contact an owner who is advertising points on the rent/trade board to find out about availability?

I don't want to waste anyones time if it doesn't work out. :)

Thanks again!

Yes, you may visit the Rent/Trade board to see if there is someone renting points who would be able to coordinate with you.

Thirty days prior you may find someone there who has a reservation to offer that they can no longer use.

Best wishes - my DD is a teacher and we find ourselves coordinating trips around school schedule as well. :)

I think a lot depends on when your spring break is. If it is right around Easter it is much tighter than if it is a few weeks in either direction. Last year I was able to get a reservation at OKW for a one bedroom for our Spring Break which was April 12-16 by booking right around this time of year. It was very last minute, and I remember the date I reserved because I had to bank points if I didn't get a reservation, so I did it right before January 31. However, I am an owner and it's much easier for an owner to call and search all the options. Hit the rent/trade board like Carol said and see what happens.
