Will be arriving at the Fort on March 14, staying until the 21st. What is the typical weather this time of year? (high/lows rain)

Only other time we have been was in the summer.

Thanks

You can go to weather.com and check for averages, but I would say you could get anything so pack for everything! It should be nice, not too hot!

March weather can be just about anything. As an Orlando native, we try to dress in layers. I always try to pack a long sleeve shirt in my backpack as the nights can cool down very quickly. We always joke that one sure way to spot a non-native at Disney is the shorts and tank tops when it is only 70 degrees.

This past Monday while we were there it was nice and warm all day, but around 5:00 the temp plummeted. DS and I ended up with jeans and sweatshirts while lots of the tourists were buying beach towels to wrap themselves in.

Another thing that I find really handy is a long scarf. If you can wrap it around your neck, that will help keep you really warm.

Thanks guys!

Starting to sound like Oklahoma weather. Looks like we better pack extra.

That's why we all have a camper, right..? For all the extra stuff that we can bring..! :goodvibes

We will be a couple of weeks behind you, but yes it can be chilly in the mornings and evenings as well. Also, do not forget about the drive home - a couple years ago we hit 30's in S. Carolina, 20's and snow in W. Virginia, and then teens and snow at home. Yeah, we learned the hard way...

We are going April 10-17 ( our spring break) and I too was concerned with the recent low temps that Florida has been having. Coarse it beats the snow and low teens we are having now ( michigan) so I will take 50.
We are packing a few sweatjackets that can be thrown over tanks or tees, and the girls and I are doing a few capris. My boys have those pants that can be unzipped into shorts..

Love the scarf tip (thanks)

We'll be there around that time as well and will be packing for cooler temps in the evening and warm days. That means shorts & tee's for daytime and pants & sweatshirts at night.

I call trips around this time of year (and in Nov) the "pack for any kind of weather" trips.

Don't forget some rain gear. Sometimes we have late winter fronts come through after 80 degree weather. The good news, they move through fast.

Great sleeping weather. Have a great trip.

We'll be there the same time too! yeah!

We were also there last year in the 1st week in March. We live in TX so our idea of hot is skewed. Capris and t-shirt for the ladies, t-shirts and shorts for my boys. Sweaters required most mornings and evenings esp. for the boat ride across the lake. One day did not warm up and it was quite cold and we ended up forking out for sweaters at MK - ouch! Be prepared for rain - we had some torrential downpours 2 nights running, and our shoes got soaked. Glad I packed 2 pairs of 'walking' shoes for everyone (even DH fessed up he was glad - he of only 3 pairs of shoes full stop, sorry, you say period).
