We will be going to WDW March 22-29 an were wondering what the weather normally is around that time an how the crowds will be? Thanks!

Good question. We usually go in July, but we're going April 7-13 this year. Curious as to what the crowds will be like compared to July. From what I've read online, weather is typically high 70s to low 80s.

We're going the same time! I heard that it will be pretty crowded but the weather should be nice at least. March is not a rainy month, and the temps should be in the 70s. But I always pack ponchos and a variety of clothing so that I'm prepared for anything.

Weather is usually nice, could be anywhere from mid 70's to 90's. It should be crowded the week of March 22nd, spring break time in central Florida that week.

I've been there during that time and it was moderately crowded. When I asked a Cast Member about crowds in the Magic Kingdom last week, he basically said that since the economy was picking up little by little, more and more people are beginning to go more. There isn't necessarily a downtime period as there has been in the past.

I never find the crowds too bad for spring break IMHO, and we've gone even over Easter before (when our spring break was different; now it's always mid March). We take it slow and take breaks, and it's not as bad as Christmas (Yikes that is bad!).

Weather - for me, I try to layer. Mornings can be nice and cool, so I'll wear capris or a sundress, but always have a cardigan. The kids usually have a hoodie sweatshirt. Of course it often comes off during warm sunny afternoons, but indoors can be chilly.

Plan for a little of everything: chilly or warm. Never hot all day like summer. Most spring break trips, it's been warm enough for the kids to swim. Sometimes me too, but I'm thin skinned, so prefer it at least 80 degree F to swim!

and a naval school in Orlando. Both encompassed March. The weather was warm both times. The boot camp period was extremely hot.

Then there was the time my fiancee (now wife) went on our last spring break of grad school. She lived in Atlanta and in 1993 ATL was much like this past weekend. I-75 was shutdown and the National Guard was out rescuing people from their cars.

We spent a couple of days at the parks. The night we were in DHS, the temps were in the mid 30s.

The beach was not so fun that year either.

We have been a couple times in late March, early April. Plan on cooler nights and mornings. We typically needed long sleeves early and late but had beautiful weather during the day. Then there was that year we had record highs and were roasting so you never know : ).

Taking our first trip the same week. Hopefully the weather pattern levels out by then.

This is great advice! Thx for sharing!princess:

Layering is a must that time of year. I will there April 13th. Capris are a good bet with a t-shirt and zip up over that. Then you just peel away. After nap I usually change into jeans for the night though

We went April 7-17 a couple of years ago and it was highs in the low 90s and lows in the upper 60s- just like summer at home. The lowest high we had was 86 degrees. It only rained for 10 minutes one day.

Boy, oh boy would I love that! We will be there about that same time. This winter is killing me, I need the heat. :beach:

Going to be there the week of March 9th. Any ideas as to what we should expect for the temperatures? First time going this time of year.
