Has anyone ever been to the Water Parks during Spring Break week?

The Unofficial Guide rates this as one of Disney's "worst" weeks (a 10), along w/the week of Christmas.

Does anyone know if that applies to the water parks too? Just curious...planning a trip first week of April.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Debbie

It is especially bad for the waterparks. It is the place the spring breakers go when they want to cool off and not go to the beaches around central florida area. It is certainly a crazy time. It was fun working that time though. We saw some interesting things!! :rolleyes1 :earseek:

I have gone the Saturday closest to Easter for the last few years. Once it was packed, and the parking lot was closed by 11am. Another year it was so empty, we had the park to ourselves until around 1pm. I think it's hit or miss. And if it's a miss, it's a doosy.

It is possible to do everything if you get there as soon as it opens. And do the big slides 1st and save the lazy river and wave pools for last.

Spring Break week? ummm, well its more like Spring Break Months. Spring break happens during different times for different school systems. All over the US and other countrys. But the best sugestion is to get there first and then do the big things firsrt and let the rest of the day be relaxing.

Yeah, I realized that Spring Break could run anywhere from March on, but when I checked MY school's Spring Break on The Unofficial's website, they rated that week in particular a "10," on a scale of 3-10.

YUCK!

It would be my dumb luck to pay for a ticket and then the place be insanely crowded!

At least, we could try and get there first thing and see how much we could knock out.

Thanks for all the replies! Deb
