Sorry it took so long to get back to this trip report. Many things going on and I had some minor surgery, but everything is back to normal so here goes. On MON. 3-10
went to AK. It was busier than the past few days. DH's neck has been bothering him and DD decided to not ride Everest, so I rode with DS. I scream like crazy, but I do love it. We again did not get to see the Nemo show. Hopefully next time. Pizzafari for lunch, left and shopped at outlets for the rest of the afternoon, back to MK and Casey's for dinner, and minature golfing at The Fairways. Great day.
TUES. 3-11-
Today was golfing day at the Palms. I don't golf, I was the camera and video person. DH, DS and DD are the golfers. It was a great day. Weather was beautiful, about 78 and sunny. The best part of the day was when the lady driving the lunch cart came around and DH asked me if i wanted a margarita. I thought he was kidding. :woohoo: It was only from a bottle but it was great. Last trip Jan 08 DH and DS golfed here and said the wildlife was great to see on this course and this is why we came. After 6 holes, nothing. Then as we drove over a pond we see turtles everywhere. and then there he is laying on a log a few feet away:eek: an alligator, about 6-8 feet long. We watched him a little but had to leave. We saw alot of turkeys also. But the best was the large racoon who got into our golf cart as we were on the green. We got out of the cart and heard noise in the woods as we stepped away out came the racoon and he jumped in our cart and started to go through my bag with our jackets and oh yes our cameras and video camera. That's right I just put the camera away because we were almost done, so no pictures. After golf back to OKW, and to Marketplace for yes another margarita. Dinner at Boma, was OK, DD and DS like it here.
WED. 3-12.
Today was Epcot, Rode Test Track my favorite. Soarin, ate lunch at Mexico, had a nice table outside, and the pattern continues, yes another margarita. After lunch headed back to the pool which was great. Had dinner at ESPN. Burgers, Chicken Fingers and Nachos, everything was good and it was not busy since we were there early. Back to Epcot for Illuminations, and then to Beaches and Cream for ice cream. Love the ice cream there.
THURS. 3-13 - Today we went to breakfast at Kona. They sat us at a smaller table in the middle of the room. We asked to be moved to an end table, but no they then put us at another small table, we did not sit down but asked for a specific table and then they did put us there. The place was practically empty. We are four adults, and the previous tables they put us at were later filled by 2 adults and 2 children. Oh well after that breakfast was good. Then back to the pool for the afternoon, after a while we decided to go back to our room with drinks and snacks and play cards, so we get up to leave and  there he is , a snake, being carried by a cast member. He was carrying him with one of those grabbers that they pick up garbage with. He was about 3 feet long. I hate snakes. I know they are at Disney, but in over 25 trips this was the first one I saw. They took him away and then some guy next to us came back and he said they got rid of him. What does that mean? In the bushes, dead, so I waited awhile to make sure I did not see him. Got my margarita and went back to the room. I was not watching by step. Made it back OK had my drink on my deck and the rest of the day was fine.
FRI. 3-14. Time to leave. Had lunch at Beaches and Cream, this is a tradition for us. To Downtown Disney and pastries for the road from Goofy's Candy Store, and we head out. All in all it was a great trip as usual. Some little things like the first room in BLdg. 11 was smelly and moldy, and the snake, and the table problem at Kona, but these are minor. Can't wait to go back, but not until Jan 09, I hope I can make it that long.
