I was wondering if anyone had been the 3rd week of March and the beginning of June? We are planning for 2007 and I know the heat will be a trade off but the biggest factor is the crowds. Any idea on which is busier?

Any help would be great!!! We are already excited about planning and I am way over the 365 on the timer!!!!! :cheer2:

Thank you,

K

I am bumping hoping their are some wise opinions on this matter, like the one above!!!!

We went in late June of 2004 and the heat wasn't an issue within the parks. I think they have a misting and fan system that helps with the heat. Also, when we went to Gatorland on one of our off days, the heat was almoost unbearable (but we're from San Diego and the weather is always great.)

I don't know how it will be in spring, but if you can go in early june (before schools let out) you won't have trouble with crowds and I think the weather will be nice.

That's my vote.

We have been in beginning of June for 2 years now --- and going back for a third ---

crowds are not too bad -- manageable

All I know is that when I went in April it was claustrophobic-never again.I would try June . :)

You might want to try the website, touringplans.com. This is by the author of The Unofficial Guide to WDW. It has a nifty chart that displays each day of the year, a general crowd index, and the best & worst parks to visit. HTH!

Sounds like everyone votes for June. I think that may be best. Also, totally check out the schedule for the most/least crowded days. I did this when we went and stuck to it except for one day. My husband wanted to go to MK one more time. It was supposed to be a crowded day but we went anyway. Man was it crowded, and not worth it. He has since vowed to allow me to do all of the travel planning. I'm good at it. In fact, I took the website information, the disney information, and a few books at the library to compile the days in each park the would be best. Also factor in the early admit days, because often people go in for the early admit and stay, then other people come in and the park is overly crowded.

We have gone during spring break, avoiding the weeks around Easter, and felt that is was fine. We went last year the last week of June and thought out of the 11 trips we have made it was the worst. The weather in June was hot, humid, and it rained-rained-rained. Not just rain showers, all day rain. The parks were so crowded you could not get around. We hated it and will never go that time of year again. With that being said we did go the last week of August one year and yes it was hot and there were rain showers but there were no crowds. So if you can go the end of the summer it is a great time to go!

spring break - bad time the parks will be jammed....June--->heat brutal but bring the lotion, go to the pools during the day and the parks morning and night and you should be fine. Remember schools are out in June so the crowds won't be down.
