Spring Break ideas for teens in Florida, NC, etc

Hello,
We have a timeshare through Hilton Grand Vacation Club (RCI) and are making plans to use it for next year's spring break, which is the 1st full week in April. DS will be a senior in high school next year, and we are thinking to get a 2 BR suite that DH, DD (and a friend for her), and DS with 3-5 friends could all share. We are looking for a place that the teens would have affordable and (somewhat supervised) fun. This group will have been to Orlando twice this year (once with the band and once on a family vacation), so we are thinking we would like to try some other vacation sites.

Our timeshare is fairly flexible as far as location, but I would like to book soon so that I know we have something.

Any suggestions?

Well, I talked to an RCI agent yesterday and asked if I was early or late for April 09, and he said "a little bit of both." Hmmm.... Anyhow, as of yesterday morning there were still 2 bedroom units available in Orlando for the week we need.

I thought a beach might be fun. I don't want anything that will be too expensive for the kids to amuse themselves, so a beach is probably our best bet. We are from Ohio so I imagine anything to do with a beach will thrill them.

Any suggestions as to a particular beach? I, personally, would like to have some civilization (shopping, sight seeing, restaurants) that we can access without too much travel.
