We have 1 day before our cruise April 5th & I am thinking about staying at HRH and doing Universal IOA with two teen girls. We land @ 8:30 so we wont get there probably until 10. So...

Given the crowds...is it worth it (will we have enough time)?

Obviously, there will be others with express passes...will they make a difference with this many people?

Do you think we will will be standing in line too much?

Do you think we should just enjoy the HRH and forget the park??

You won't have time to do both parks even with Express Plus passes so I would suggest figuring out which park you really want to do and plan accordingly.

IoA will be busy and WWoHP will be crazy busy so you will be standing in line for that area but Express will work for all but two attractions...Forbidden Journey and the Pteranodon Flyers in Jurassic Park.

You shouldn't have too many problems doing the Studios that day though...but both parks is going to be nearly impossible.

Definitely hit the parks. I would do both so get the One Day Park-to-Park Ticket. Universal Express lines aren't usually long, so it will work. We did something similar once when we stopped at UOR on our way to St. Pete and spent a day (10:30 to around 6) in both parks with the Express because we stayed the night before at RPR. I remember we were able to do about eleven attractions. So you will have a great time.

I just did a search of the files on my computer and found the old itinerary for that day. It worked perfectly! Please note this itinerary does not include Harry Potter.

Universal Studios
Twister
Jaws
Disaster
Men in Black
E.T. Adventure
Lunch: Mel's Diner

Islands of Adventure
Cat in the Hat
Eighth Voyage of Sinbad
Jurassic Park River Adventure
Spider-Man
Dudley Do Right's Falls
Popeye and Bluto's Barges

Both parks really???

I was thinking on just IOA in hopes of maybe spending the later afternoon at the HRH. If feel quilty spending all that money for HRH and not spending any time there but the express pass is a plus.

If you are visiting during Spring Break...one of the busiest times of the year...EPs will be needed to optimize your time. Again...the Studios shouldn't be too busy but IoA will be very busy...especially WWoHP and that's the main thing to consider. Lines will be very long for that area and will use a lot of time if you aren't careful. I would recommend doing the Studios first and then IoA for the remainder of the day. WWoHP has made all the difference in SB crowds.
