spring break crowds

We were in Disneyland on June 4-6. I am considering a spring break trip in the future. If we went during the week (M-W or T-Th or M-Th) how would the crowds compare to our June trip?

Well we were not there when you were but you will find most of the spring breaks days much more crowded than June. Only you will be a good judge.

We've done 2 spring break trips & won't be doing that again.....the crowds are crazy!! We did a end of July/first of August trip last summer & the crowds were much easier to deal with then during spring breaks. I'd much prefer to go during the summer!!

We've done a mid-July trip and a spring break trip and comparatively the July trip was much less crowded. We will NEVER be going during spring break again.

Our line to use FP for Screamin' during spring break was 30 plus minutes. The line was clear out past King Triton's Carousel.

We were at DL the same days you were. I would consider June 4 and 5 to have been pretty low crowds. We found that the lines were fairly short for everything (except Star Tours!) The 6th was significantly more crowded.

I don't have much to add to your question about a crowd comparison with spring break trips as we have not done that, except to add the question of what is considered Spring Break season at DL? When we were there last week, an AP holder was telling me that Spring Break season at DL starts the first of April and that DL is not very crowded at all in March. Is that true? Around this part of the country our spring break happens in March, and I know that WDW is absolutely packed the last week or two of march with the spring break crowds. If that is good information, then maybe we will consider a spring break trip too!

Spring break for us is also in March.

I think we will just wait until June again instead of spring break. I agree that June 6th was much more crowded than the 4th & 5th. If spring break is lots worse than that, I want to avoid it!!

Spring Break goes from March thru April, with crowds really filling the parks the week before & after Easter (that is when southern Cali kids are out).

Keep in mind that when you were at DL this June was during the opening of the Little Mermaid & Star Tours which could have upped the crowd levels over what is normal.

Another thing to look at is when the AP's are blocked...this does make a difference in the crowds.

Spring Break vacations all happen in about a 6 week span where summer vacations spread over 3 months.

We were there for our spring break at the end of March. I felt the crowds were worse 6/5 - 6/7 then they were in March, but by no means the worse I have ever seen.
