Spring Break Crowds

Would like to plan a trip to Disney the week of April 1-8. Does anyone know how crowded that week is likely to be? Also, has anyone stayed at the new family suites at All Stars Music? Enough room for 5? Family includes DW(me), DH, DD(14), DS(13), and DS(10). The thot of having 2 bathrooms and small kitchen area is greatly appealing. Last time we went yougest son was 2 and we stayed at the Wilderness cabins. Thinking of tacking Universal on end of trip. Any info from all you experts would be appreciated.

That is the week leading up to Easter, so the parks will be very crowded, especially toward the end of your trip.

Many, many schools are out that week for Easter break. Crowd level will be a 10 out of 10, so plan accordingly.

Yes Easter crowds. The reason why we are going. 3/31 to 4/14 in 2007

Hints:
Do AK and MK on early morings. They can get very crowded in the afternoon. EPCOT and Studio's can handle crowds better in the afternoon and evening.
Call WDW dining and do at least one ADR per day- Breakfast and lunch are the least expensive.You will know you have at least one meal in an air conditioned room.
A value resort suit will give you the space you need. You may also wnat to check out the Fort Wilderness Cabins -

For those who prefer the comforts of home, there are cozy freestanding Ft. Wilderness Cabins available that can accommodate up to 6 guests.
Wilderness Cabins: These air conditioned free-standing dwellings are approximately 504 square feet, 12' wide by 42' long. Each cabin has a separate bedroom with a double bed, bunk beds and a pull down bed in the living area. The cabins will sleep 6 people. There is a full bathroom, with hair dryer, and a living/dining area. This area has a sofa and cable TV/VCR. The dining area has seating for 6. You'll also be provided with an iron/ironing board.
The kitchen has all major appliances: a microwave oven, dishwasher (with packets of soap), coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker, stove/broiler and toaster. It is fully equipped for all of your cooking and dining needs (minus the food!): cutlery service for 6, paring knives, manual can opener, serving spoon, measuring cup, pitcher, casserole, dinnerware service for 6, platter, Dutch oven, saucepans, skillet, paper towels, dish towel, sponge, and a drainboard. Outside each cabin, there is a smalll deck with your own charcoal grill and picnic table. Daily maid service is provided. Check-in is 3 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. When checking into the Wilderness Cabins, guests must park at the Reception outpost and check in at the front desk there. There is parking for one car at your cabin. Please note that vehicular traffic is restricted at Ft. Wilderness

TIP: For a location close to the main pool, request a cabin in loops 2500 or 2700.

Be prepared to wake early and use morning EMH constantly. Your touring will basically be a mad dash in the mornings to do as many big-ticket rides as possible, then as the park crowds, you'll do the lesser attractions and use FP to fit in a few more big tickets. Build some early-afternoon breaks into the schedule, as this is peak crowding time at the parks - a good time to swim at the hotel, get a meal at downtown disney, mini golf, etc. If you're mentally prepared for peak crowds, you can manage them.
