Hi everyone just wanted to give you a report on our Spring Break Trip.

We got the Disney on 4/10/06 in the afternoon and checked into All Star Movies. We settled into our room and had some lunch before heading out to Magic Kingdom. It was about 3:00 p.m. and it was packed....spring break....I was warned. We managed to ride a few rides and then we shopped a little before heading back to go night swimming.

Tuesday was better, we went to Animal Kingdom at open and rode the Safari twice before there was any line. It seemed like everyone else went over to EE and we headed straight for the Safari. We rode the train to the petting area and had a great time playing with the animals and my daughter who is 7 got the pet a ball python. She said it was so slimmy. We hung out in Animal Kingdom until about noon and then the crowds were really coming. We headed back to our resort for a afternoon swim and then out to DTD for some serious shopping. I had never been to DTD before and it was great. We loved the Lego's building with all the displays out front. My daughter liked the Disney store where Stitch is out front and spits on you. She thought that was great. We tore up the stores down there and the weather was beautiful.

Wednesday we got up at 5 a.m. and headed to Magic Kingdom for Extra magic hours and we rode all the rides in Fantasy Lande at least 4 times before we even had a wait. I was waiting for the next Dumbo when a man standing behind asked when the rest of the park opened and I told him at 8. He seemed happy because he wanted to go over to Pirates which I told him was shut down due to the refurbishment. He said that he has talked to a CM and they told him at the front gate that it was open for this week and the next week only. I was totally happy since that was the ride my daughter and I love the best. So as soon as we got off Dumbo we headed straight for Pirates and it was open and running so we got to ride it which was great. It was my mothers first trip to Disney and she was expecting something else then what it was, but she loved it. We had breakfast with Pooh at the Crystal Palace which was really great. We were celebrating my daughters birhtday (this was her present from her father and me) and they treated her great. We hung out at Magic Kingdom until the 12:30 parade and then headed back to our resort for an afternoon swim. While we were waiting for the parade to start we watched as 100's of peole came down main street. It was crazy with all the people. We have been down only when it was slower and I do like that better, but since this was the only time we could go this year, that is why we had to go during spring break. That night we left Disney for a few hours and headed over to Cocoa Beach to play. It was so winding though, we couldn't really have to much fun, but my daughter did manage to build a sand castle of sorts and we watched a Kite surfer guy which was neat. Then on our way back to Disney we stopped off at Ron Jon Surf Shop and that was really great.

Thursday was a total bummer for me, we were supposed to go to Epcot first thing and try to ride Soarin, but I got sick Wednesday night and I was totally out of commision for Thursday. My daughter was totally bummed because she wanted to go to the living seas, which she loves. My mom tried to get her to go with just her, but she didn't want to leave me since I was sick. After a while of convincing she finally agreed to go back to MK for a few hours so mom could rest. Later that afternoon I felt sorta human again and my mom slipped off and went to Epcot by herself and we stayed behind and went swimming and played at the playground with some other kids.

Friday was our last day and we were having dinner with Minnie that night so I knew it would be a total MK day. So we got up at 5 a.m. again and hit the extra magic hours for the morning. It was great again and even when we left for the aftenoon it didn't seem nearly as busy. Then we came back for the evening and had dinner with Minnie at Liberty Tavern. The food was disappointing but the characters were fun. I could be wrong about the food since I was still a little under the weather.

So all I have to say about the whole trip is Disney is always great.....
Spring break is busy but if you use the resources available to you then you have a great time anyway.....
Try not to get sick on any vacation you are on.....
And some rumors are usually true(pirates)

Thanks for listening. pirate:

Great report! Im so sorry you got sick, although it seems you are not alone. I swear that every trip report I read that someone is getting sick. Makes me a wee bit nervous I must say. :guilty:

Sorry you got sick on your trip--that's no fun. But it sounds like you had a good time dispite that.

Thanks for posting.
