I am thinking about signing up for Spring Advantage 2011. So they will have presentations around September-November. Also, what happens if my school doesn't recognize the college program (I go to a community college)

Anddd
If I bring a friend, what are the chances that we will be room mates?

How likely are you to get hired if you DONT put jobs that you don't want. (For example I'd only like to work Attractions or Merchandise so am going to list those)

Thanks !

The more positions you list, the better chance you have for getting into the program.

As for your friend, as long as you have the same arrival date and you're both over/under 21 (unless the over 21 wants a wellness apartment) you can room together.

Awesome, I'm going to be trying to go back for the same session! :)

A lot of schools, even accredited universities, don't give any sort of credit for completing the CP. If you don't want to be behind, I wouldn't suggest doing it. I got 6 hours of elective credit, but not many people I know did. There are certain classes you can take while at Disney that may give you credit towards a specific major, though. Talk directly with your advisor to see what is best. I'd say to do the CP no matter what! It's amazing.

Question's been answered, but if you have the same arrival dates, you can put each your friend's registration number ((something like that)) on a form, and it will send a request to them they need to accept, and then you'll be roommates. If the two of you don't end up with the same arrival date, it is possible to have that changed to accommodate you guys. Just email them and it will be worked out. I was in that situation, and it ended up just fine.

Merchandise and Attractions are pretty common roles for CPs to have, so I'd say you're safe. But they do ask for a Top 3 or 4, so pick some others you're interested in. The only time it might be risky business is if you put only roles that are very rare to get as CPs, such as Full-Service Food & Beverage or Hospitality.

So you have done it before? I don't think my college offers any credit. And when do they start showing when the presentations will be? In August?

The online info (and probably the e-presentation) will start in Aug, and the campus presentations should start in Sept

Yep, I did it last year over the Fall.

One thing I'd say for sure NOT to put unless you want it is Quick-Service Food and Beverage. The biggest number of CPs end up working in QSFB, so if you put it down, there is a pretty good chance they might put you there. If you don't want that, do not by any means list it!

Yeah I do not wanna be QSFB so I don't think I'm going to list it haha :)
