Spring 2026??

Hey All, Our next Family trip (we bring our children and grandchildren once every 2 years), is in 2026. We usually like to go in early to mid April, so my first booking window is coming up shortly. Easter is Sunday April 5 next year. I know that Disney gets busy around Easter, but do you think its best to go the week before or the week after Easter?

Tom usually does a good job on all things Disney, so it looks like it probably won't matter very much which week you choose. Maybe the edge goes to the week after.

To me, the fact that it costs more DVC points to stay the week before Easter than the week after says something about booking patterns of DVC members, specifically that the week before Easter is in greater demand than the week after. I have no personal experience!

Agreed. You save on points and it isn't as crowded after Easter. Go with that option.

Lots of schools in our area (southwest PA) time their spring break to the week before Easter - taking advantage of Good Friday already being a holiday for a lot of people. I would think the week after Easter would be better as pretty much everyone's spring breaks are probably done by then.

Do the week after. My children’s spring break is traditionally the week prior to Easter.

We once visited the weekend after Easter in late April and it was pretty comfortable crowd-wise. And the weather (although of course never guaranteed) was sublime!

I just left. Crowds the day after Easter were busier imo, granted I was only there one day after. Easter was actually pretty low crowds imo.
