I got character attendant. I'm not actually sure about locations and stuff, my understanding is that you pretty much can work wherever there's characters... Joanna, is this correct? My mom is SO excited for me.. she just got her second Master's last year and we actually met a Character Attendant on the program during a trip last year who told her she could technically do the College Program. The only thing that stopped her from doing it is that my dad said he'd divorce her.. haha. Anyway, she keeps continuing to ask me questions about my role, and besides what's written on the folder and the typical job description, I don't know all THAT much about it. I should probably get her some more info.. haha.

That is correct. You can work anywhere and everywhere. I have worked in all 4 parks, plus Backyard BBQ at Ft. Wilderness.

That guy is the unbelievably sexy NATHANIEL PARKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm addicted to him now too (ever since watching The Haunted Mansion, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)... or would that be in love with him?? I think Seewhatimesdone answered that but I just had to answer too since it is my avatar.

I really would love to work at The Haunted Mansion. I think I would die. No pun intended, of course. Hmmm.... I might have to make the, uhhh, final arrangements for that. Come to think of it, I almost want that more that doing QSFB. I'd be better in a food service setting, but ehhh.... I'm sick of food service. I need a change. I'll ask my mom what she thinks. If you want to do Attractions can you request to be put at a certain one? I'd really only want to do it if I could be at HM, Soarin', or TofT. Mainly HM.

You can tell your interviewer where you'd like to work, but they really can't promise you anything. They'll obviously try to place you somewhere you requested if it's possible, but I'm pretty sure I've heard that HM and TofT are the two most requested attractions to work at

I just would love to be able to work at HM. It's special to me. But if not, it'll be ok. How popular is Soarin' as far as people wanting to work there??

Well, they do have some time to place everyone- around 3 months or so (depending on when you apply).

So I applied now..... trying for January or March (I saw that Spring Advantage '09 is March through August?????? Correct?? It's on the WDW CP website. That would work better since my school breaks our year up in quarters).... will that affect how soon you arrive? Or does everyone arrive on the same day?

Spring is Jan-May, Advantage is Jan-Aug, and Quarter Program is March-Aug.

And there are several dates for each.

Are you eligible for rehire the next year if all goes well?? I'm hoping, if I get to do a CP this year, to maybe go back in '10. Is that possible?
