There are spreadsheets that people use to plan their trips. I have one that I use for dining to calculate the costs of meals and paying for the ddp or paying oop. It also has tabs that list the park hours, showtimes, attractions at each park, a place for my ADR #'s, and itineraries for each day. I'm a big planner, so I like to have it all planned out ahead of time and use it to look at each day.
Pass Porter is well known and used as Disney guidebook. Like and Unofficial Guide in a different format. It is spiral bound, a new one comes out yearly, there are pockets in the back to keep important papers and schedules, there are pages in the back to list your important flight numbers, ADRs, etc. It is a very easy guide book to follow. You can even download a DVC guide to your computer from their site. It has a big following and is the only guidebook we have ever used for Disney. You can purchase them online or in any large book store usually.
I use an excel spread sheet that I change for each trip. It keeps the entire week of plans at a glance. I then use the WDW Dinning APP on my Iphone to keep tract of ADRs. We all use different ways to plan--
