Spreading the Dis Board joy around?

Since i have added "Yay Dis " into my player profile , i am getting all kinds of questions about what dis is . Is there a good standard way of telling people in VMK without violating the rules?

Not really. People get banned if they mention that Dis is an online board.
It's really a double-edged sword. I tell people that Dis is short for Disney.

Basically I tell people that there are many message boards out there that have info about disney or about the game. If they persist I mention two or three, not just putting this one up front. I try to be helpful without being too blatantly obvious that I push this one. Though I know of one member who plays sometimes with her kids who found this one because of it. Of course I usually try to put it across to adults instead of kids if I can. I wouldn't want any kids to get into any great trouble with their parents. And, if they persist, I do mention to them to talk with their family first.

Whenever someone asks "What is Dis?" I usually walk over to something near them and say something like "Dis? Dis is a rocket couch." If they ask again I pick another object and say "Dis? Dis is a tree." Repeat this until they get frustrated and give up.

Using this method, I've never gotten a single warning for talking about dis... or dat!

Probably not. Better to let people find it on their own.

When I had Dis in my signature, I used to tell people we can't talk about fan sites in the game. I'm not sure if I'd dare to say that now though for fear of being twapped off the VMK world by the Big White Glove.

(Sad to say, I just don't tell anyone IN GAME about DIS. Too risky.)
