Spray Tans??

Has anyone ever gotten one of those spray tans before they've gone off for their Florida vacation? Does it look natural? How long does it last? Did it make your skin breakout at all? Did you still get sunburnt if you were out in the sun without any sunscreen? I'm curious...

one of my friends had it, and it looked awful! her skin looked like it had blochy stuff all over it. the thing about spray tans is that to make it perfect you have to get every single spot on your skin, and if you don't you get some tan skin and then some of it is your regular skin. so, its not to good.

I got a Mystic Tan the night before we left for Florida - at first, it looked great but when I woke up, I looked orange. It faded after about a day but I still had splotches of orange on my hands and feet and knees.
In addition to the weird color, it smelled TERRIBLE. I did it at 9 o'clock at night and since you can't shower for 5-7 hours afterward, I was planning on taking one in the morning before we left for Florida. I didn't know that we were going to leave at 5 a.m. so I ended up skipping it, which was a BAD idea. It smells really starchy and being crammed in a Suburban for hours on end with that stench is NOT fun
BUT...even though I had a bad experience and will never do it again, I have friends that swear by it and get it done once every week or so. To each his own, I guess. Good luck!

a lot of the girls at my school tried that before our winter swirl dance and they looked horrible. they were blotchy and orange for a week. and the worst was it wasnt all the way faded before the dance so in their pictures they were orange!!! i wont ever try i will just stay a ghost until i get tanned by the sun.

I've never gotten one, but my friend has done Mystic Tan a few times and she loves it. She has a little bit of a tan naturally because she's half hispanic, but she likes to look more tan, and it's worked for her. She usually goes on a night when she knows she has nothing going on, though, so she won't smell like the tanning spray around people!

in my opinion...these spray tans r crap. my friends gf got 1 and she looked orange for like three days (or at least the 3 days that i saw her). it was kinda funny but sad at the same time.

Much safer, if I were of the female persuasion I wouldn't ever put myself in a tanning bed. Just not worth it, even if the fake stuff looks fake, you won't have to worry about it killing you.

I never did spray tan before but my friend has..it turned out pretty good except her hands and arms were 2 toned, not good..lol. I use a tanning bed, and I kno its dangerous but it works good, but do not go in for the first time for more than 5 minutes you will burn! lol I saw it happen.

I go to the tanning salon, and it works great. I tan really easily, so I just got for like a month or 2 at a time and I get GREAT results. I go for like 18 mins though because I am used to the bed.

I haven't done the Mystic Tan, but if you are scared of the results why dont you just lay out in your backyard for a few hours before you go on your vacation?

If you want a tan why don't you just get a natural tan while you're in Fla., Stead of wasteing your money?All you need is to put on sun tan lotion and sit on the beach or around the pool.
