How much blockage is there on the left hand wall right outside the window? How deep is this? I see on the pics that there is a wall right outside the window on the left hand side where the deck juts back to hold the lifeboats. I know trivial question.

We were in 5020 which is the same room on the opposite side of the ship. The wall goes out about 4 feet, but the view is wonderful, really not much of an obstruction at all. We loved our room and it's location, I think you will too!!

ok go to this site and u can see from the pictures that it is the least blocked of them all , i stayyed in that stateroom and it was hardly blocked at all............ peter
oh yea glad husband smartened up , is this the cabin u have ??
if it is u will be happy www.castawayclub.com

We had this cabin last year, guessing from memory that the wall is about 4 feet in depth. You won't notice it much unless you are very close to the window.

Great cabin for the price, especially being higher up on deck five versus the more costly porthole cabins way lower - we have it reserved again Dec' 03.

In addition to the photos, I have an extensive review of this stateroom on my site in the trip report from our three-peat. It's a very convenient stateroom, and it's so nice to have a view. The hallway was noisy, but that can happen anywhere. In my opinion, the SPRs are a great bargain!
