I am trying to figure out if my brother would even like a Disney cruise. My SIL and their kids would love it but I'm just not sure what activities my brother would do on a Disney cruise.

His family has sailed on Carnival and Princess and he enjoys things like chip and put competitions, ping pong competitions, throwing baskets on the basketball court....are there many of these type of activities on Disney? We have sailed a couple of times on Disney and I just don't remember there being many of that type of activity. Looking at past Navigator's I'm not seeing much either. I don't think he would be into trivia or bingo. He's not much into sitting around, he needs to be up and doing something. Of course he also likes a casino but there isn't one on Disney.

How old is your brother?

For adults, those over 18, the only organized sporting events are Chip It Golf and the 5K, if your cruise visits Castaway Cay.

If your brother is 17 or younger, the teen club has a variety of activities. If he is 18-20, the 1820 Society also has organized events.

All the ships have a sports deck with basketball and ping pong, a gym (for those over 18) and a running and shuffleboard counts on deck 4.

In addition, the Dream and Fantasy have mini-golf and sports simulators.

Guess family ping pong and shuffleboard is what we will have to do.

Would he (or anyone in your party) be willing to connect with your Cruise Meet group? You may be able to arrange some competitions with other like-minded folks. Ping pong, shuffleboard, basketball 3-on-3, even mini-golf. And don't forget the sports simulators that he might like.

Enjoy your cruise!
