Sports Bar

I know the ESPN Skybox has been converted to a teen club since we sailed on the Wonder in 2001. Since we are going to be on the Magic the week of the World Series I was wondering if there is a sports bar on board where I could watch some of it.

I believe Diversions now has multiple TVs for sports programming.

Diversions has nice flat screen televisions placed at strategic locations. Cove Cafe (the coffee shop) also has a television, and I've noticed people watching sports in there.

Diversios has 16 t.v.s. But depending what station the games are on is weather or not you will see them......Disney owns ABC? And that is the ONLY affiliate available on the ship........

Because Diversions becomes adults only after 9, the Promenade Lounge shows major sporting events on a large, drop down projection screen TV as well. We were on the Wonder during NFL playoffs and on the Magic during the Final Four, and neither of these events were ABC--the broadcast feed picked up was actually ESPN International, English Language Feed (these would have been CBS in the states). So the World Series will be shown, in a sports bar setting, in a comfortable lounge setting (hot dog bar in diversions, wings in the hot dish at Promenade), and I think I recall seeing a part of some of a sports feed (maybe womens final four?) put onto one of the on-board channels on the stateroom TV as well).

We sailed the Magic last October during the World Series... Diversions and the Promendae Lounge carried a satellite pick-up of Fox's World Series Coverage from..I think it was an international version of ESPN... . It was also available on the tv in the staterooms.

We usually went to Diversions to watch...until it became painfully obvious to us that the Cardinals were going down in flames.

Thanks for the input. Doesn't look like I'll have to worry about watching my Phillies in the Series but I'll want to watch it anyway!
