Ok, I admit I am not into the footie at all, in fact I am not really into much in the way of sports - but I do love my tennis.
So, this time of the year is usually tennis season for me, with the French Open just coming to an end, Queens and Eastbourne about to start, and of course my all time favourite Wimbledon coming soon. (I don't have Sky Sports so can't watch it if it's not on terrestrial tv or Eurosport).
So I should be a happy bunny shouldn't I. But oh no, there is this little matter of a World Cup football tournament taking place, for the whole of the next month, making life a tad difficult for me. Today I had to watch the womens final of the French Open on our little portable in our bedroom cos DH had hogged the TV downstairs. (Good job it was being shown on BBC2).
I wouldn't mind but he doesn't even support England - he is a very patriotic Scot, and really is only watching in the hope of seeing England get beat. But he will watch most of the matches anyway.
So I can see things getting a bit heated in our house.
