Just what the title says...lol.

Day 1 - Lunch at Cosmic rays.

We ordered 2 chicken/rib combos & 2 Grilled chicken sandwiches.

The combos were as messy as ever. But finger lickin' good. And for $14/plate, a good deal on the dining plan.

Our daughters both ordered the grilled chicken sandwiches. Both gave their seal of approval. They want to eat them again before we go, so they must have liked them.

Captain's Grille 2/13

We wanted to try somewhere different this trip , so we went to Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club.

We didn't have to wait but 10-15 minutes before they sat us. Waiter was very good.

Here's what we had:

Chocolate Profiterole

Husband gave this meal a 9 out of 10. I was happy with it. Our daughters...well...they would be happy with chicken fingers. But they're Disney "adults" now...

Well Valentine's Day rolls around and we eat breakfast in the food court @ the French Quarter. I couldn't get to the camera quick enough for pictures...sorry. But I think we can imagine what a ham & cheese omelet and the bounty platter looks like by now....

Electric Umbrella 2/14

Decided to try this place. We've never ate here before.

Here's what we had:

Our desserts: Strawberry Cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies and a fruit cup.

2 Meatball sandwiches and a burger (I forgot the exact name of it)...a Blue Mushroom burger (?)

Our Daughter loved the meatballs, so did I. Husband ate all his burger. So...he must of liked it.

Last night we ate at Cape May Buffet. We always like this place to eat. Sorry no pics here...

Nice to see pics of counter meals :goodvibes
we usually eat at cosmic rays and Electric umbrella, cant wait to go again.xx;)

Oh my... after all these trips how did I manage to miss Captain's Grille?

Those steaks look soooo... good

I just looked the menu on my ipad and I am going to make a ressie for next trip! Thanks for the heads up!

I forgot - While 3 of us ate at Electric Umbrella, my other Daughter had her mind set on Fish and Chips from United Kingdom. Which, saps that we are, took her after we ate.

They smelled wonderful. We wished we had bigger stomachs to hold more food. But the meatball sands and burger had filled us up earlier.

Yesterday was Animal Kingdom day. We decided to use a snack credit for lunch so we could be super hungry for dinner at WCC later.

So, I found this at the park:

It's called a Brownie Paw. Yes, I like sugar. This was all sugar. Sweet. Yummy. What a bad lunch

Whispering Canyon Cafe 2/15

Dinner was @ 5:20 yesterday...

We were seated, guess where? Way back in the corner and around the bend...Whaaaaattttt? :confused3

We couldn't see diddly. Granted my kids are a bit older, 11/12yrs old...but really??? I felt like I did something wrong... But ok, not a huge deal, I guess. It's just fun to watch all the stuff that goes on. Not on this day.

Some more bad news.....ready??? The Rib Eye is gone from the menu. :scared1: Yes...really.

In it's place is this:

New York Strip. It was suppose to come with sweet potato fries. But husband subbed them with regular fries.

I had:

Both girls had:

Pot Roast. They inhaled the meat.

Desserts were huge.

Husband had the Smores Cheesecake:

DD12 had the caramel apple pie:

DD11 and I had the chocolate cake:

We tried really hard to finish them, we really did. But just really big pieces of cake.

Tonight is 1900 Park Fare. Don't think I'll be taking pics...but if a really handsome Prince Charming comes around...maybe I will. lol. The husband can take the step sisters.

We still have 7 more days of food... eating at The Wave, Turf Club, Raglan Road, Ohanas (we have a surprise ordered for this day), crystal palace and Liberty Tree tavern (lunch) just to name a few.

Loving your short & sweet reviews! Can't wait for more. We're going to Liberty Tree & Turf Club for the 1st time on our upcoming trip. Looking forward to those pics & reviews!

Great reviews! Now Im hungry! How was Cape May, still plenty of crab legs? What other kind of seafoods and meats?

Let me see...the husband is the seafood guy, but I'll try to remember.

crab legs, clams, shrimp, new england clam chowder, pork loin, flank steak (?), ribs, some kind of beef stew.

Yesterday (2/16) we went to lunch in our favorite counter service place:

Wolf Gang Puck Express

My plate, pepperoni Pizza

As always this is a treat! Everything was perfect.

Dinner was at 1900 Park Fare last night. We haven't been here in a year, but somethings have changed.

The husband loved the little fruit tarts and pies. None on the buffet last night. Brownies, apple crisp, rice krispie treats, gummy bears, etc...were on it. The ice cream machines were closed up as well. Is this because of the Free Dining Week, or did they take them off entirely?

But at the end of our meal, the server brought this to our table:

It contained 2 vanilla scoops and 2 chocolate scoops of ice cream.

Everything else was fine. The characters were fairly quick, but no dancing. The husband loved the beef stir fry. So did I...

On the 17th the Daughters and I ate at the Food court at the French Quarter.

Both the kids had the grilled chicken sandwich:

They were happy with this and gobbled it up.

I had the cheese steak sandwich:

I would have liked alittle more meat on it, but for a quick service it was good.

We are staying at the French Quarter in 3 weeks, is the food court close to the FQ side or Riverside?
