Several members of our group (3 kids and 2 of the adults) have reservations at Discovery Cove on 10/31. Thought we would go over the Sea World with the free admission that we get from our DC tickets. Just discovered that SW has a "Spooktacular" that night. Thats kind of a nice surprise...except I'm wondering how horribly crowded it will be?? I know alot of people go to MK's event that night...and I"m thinking if locals do it, they might go the Friday or Sat night before so their kids can trick or treat at home on actual Halloween.
Has anyone actually gone to this event? Do most all of the kids wear costumes? Do we need to bring trick or treat bags to collect goodies are will they be supplied?

I went last year and kids can come in costume. They can show it off during a costume show and they can collect candy at certain places around the park. There are special Halloween versions of Clyde and Seamore, Pets Ahoy, and Shamu Rocks America. There's a special fireworks show too.

The crowds weren't too bad, but the event happens on the weekend, when crowds tend to be large anyway.
