This is my first and last time on the DDP. I am very interested in Spoodles and want to hear all opinions! I did search on the "reviews" but didn't find too much...

TIA!!!:dogdance:

We love Spoodles! The flatbread is wonderful and we always like everything we get to eat. The best part is it's on the Boardwalk and we can take a walk after we eat! :yay:

For 8 years we have always started our fist night with dinner at Spoodles. With that being said, the past 2 trips we have been very dissapointed. The place has gotten so loud and the tables seem cramed in there more than ever. The ceilings are so high the noise just echo's. The menu has changed and some of the old favorites on there are gone.

However, I still think the food is nice and flavorful there. We have never had a poor meal there just poor service. I think that can be said for anyplace though if you catch a waiter on an off moment. I don't know what is going on at the other tables. Just be prepare for a loud dinner and some good flatbread with sage.

I had always wanted to try Spoodles, and never did. We finally made it there on our visit this past September, and it was my favorite meal of the trip. I loved it! I went with my sister & my two kids and we went right when it opened which was nice. The place wasn't full yet, and my kids were kept busy by the waitress. We also enjoyed the flatbread--so delicious! I also orderd the Snapper, it was fantastic. A really fun place--Hope you make it there!:goodvibes

DH & I ate @Spoodles w/Disney Dining Plan in late September "07.

It was crowded & it was very noisy, there was constant flow of wait staff by our table. Several people bumped into DH's chair.:confused3
DH had linguini and said it was bland and boring. I had cornish hen w/roasted vegetables. It was a very large serving and I could not have eaten it all. Lucky for me--the meat was bloody next to the bone:eek: . I didn't inform our waiter, just ate veggies and we got our dessert to go.

Everyone has different taste buds--we won't return to Spoodles.

We really enjoyed Spoodles in August. So much that when we got home we rearranged ADRs for our November trip so we could eat there again. I had a shrimp appetizer that was wonderful, DH and DD loved the flatbread. We all had the oak fired kebobs and really enjoyed those as well. It was a little loud but not too bad. We received very good service.

hate to say it but I didn't like it. The service seemed too rushed, the food was not to my taste apart from dessert which was awesome, I just didn't like anything about it really, but it was a pretty restuarant and obviously in an awesome location. I have heard that the chef has changed since my last visit so it may be my review doesn't hold weight any more, i think positive or negative you should try everything once for yourself:thumbsup2

We just ate there in August and we loved it. One of our favs from the trip. We were in a small room in the back so not noisy at all and our waiter was great. I had flatbread, Steak Kabobs & creme brulee and loved it all. I had heard their Fettucinni was great, but it was off the menu. My daughter really wanted it and the chef said it was no problem to make it for her. Also, loved the Boardwalk area, can't wait to go back next year.

Spoodles is one we want to try too... I actually think we want to give breakfast a try too... :)

We had breakfast there and enjoyed the food very much - We were the first people there so no problem with crowds, but did see lines waiting later in the morning.

Ate there twice... both times the food was very greasy. First time my stomach hurt/felt sick after. Once was breakfast and one was lunch. They are just too heavy handed on oil/grease for my tastes. I know many love them, but I won't ever go back.

Thanks so much for the great reviews guys!! After reading the reviews and perusing the menu....we decided on Kona Cafe. I'm just too scared to chance Spoodles. If we had more days, I wouldn't stress about it, but I want every meal to be fabulous.
