I've always wanted to go to Spoodles at the boardwalk. how is the food and atmosphere there?? lol

it's like closed or closing... i believe that is where the new kat cora restaurant is going... or is already...

nope, not a rumor... from the DisBoards home page:

"Cat Cora to open eatery to replace Spoodles restaurant at the Boardwalk Resort. The restaurant will be called Kouzzina by Cat Cora and will feature Mediterranean cuisine. Cora has been a featured chef at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and at Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort."

It is still Spoodles and will be for a few more months. Nice place for breakfast and dinner.

I ate dinner with 2 friends in March and we all enjoyed the food and the friendliness of our server. My friends had shrimp pasta dish, flavored with lemon I think, and I had the pork tenderloin.

We've had some good breakfasts there over the years.

I have two different reviews for Spoodles if you click the links in my sig. It's always been one of our favorite WDW restaurants, and I really hope it's still as good when it changes.

yes, i know, but the OP is not traveling for nearly 7 months (based on signature) and by then it is expected to have closed...

My DH absolutely loved it in February, it is our favorite restaurant in WDW. We are sad that it is closing.

We ate there on Easter Sunday for dinner and I was really impressed with the food. I had the most amazing pork tenderloin and the chocolate espresso dessert - mmmmmmmmm.....

The only "minor" thing that I didn't like was that it was noisier than I expected. The kitchen is open (plus it was quite busy) but for some reason I was expecting it to be a more subdued atmosphere. Anyways, that's a minor point. The important thing is that the food was really really good!! And the Boardwalk itself is so fun to explore.

I hope it's still open when you visit.
