We will be checking into the YC on a Sunday at around noon. We will be in the pool the entire day and not visiting any parks on this day. We were thinking of eating at Spoodles the first day, then we read about the YC Galley. Being it is in our hotel we were thinking this might be a good choice. The menu looks good... Any reviews??

I've been to the YC Galley a couple of times, and I really like it there. They have good sandwiches and entrees. I find it a nice relaxing place to eat.

I had been wanting to try Yacht Club Galley for a long time before we finally at there for dinner in March. Now I'm wondering what the heck took me so long to get there. Our meal was very good and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere is nice but not overbearing. My husband had the steak and actually didn't use ketchup which was amazing to me. He said he didn't need anything except just how is was prepared. He's always asking for ketchup or for the provided sauce to be removed. The half of a chicken was very good and a typical Disney huge bird. The clam chowder was perfect for me. I wanted to try the Boston Creme Pie for dessert but was way too full for it (note to self, get the dessert next time and not the soup!). Service was very attentive with drinks refilled right away and plates removed. We didn't feel rushed at all and we certainly we're ignored. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all but we still had a reservation. I'm thinking of this place or the Grand Floridian Cafe for a family reunion meal next year. I really liked it a lot.

WOW- I am very happy to hear the positive reviews. The thought of walking over to Spoodles after spending ALL day in SAB and eating dinner at 7:00 was not something we were looking forward to. The Galley makes for a great alternative and is something we will be doing.
Thanks ... Any more????

While I agree that it is very convenient to dine in the same hotel where you are staying, Spoodles isn't exactly far away (it is a 5 minute walk at most). That being said, I would still recommend YC Galley. It is very good and doesn't get too crowded.

We had dinner at the Galley in December and thought that everything was excellent. I would definitely eat there again :) .

Although I've never eaten at YCG, I just got off the phone with DS, who'd eaten there a couple weeks ago. He said it was the best meal he had all week, best atmosphere, best service, and raved especially about the cheesecake he had there. Based on his recommendation, I can't wait to try it next trip.
