Spoodles or Whispering Canyon?

Hi Everyone
I have to get rid of one of these ADR's, I really enjoyed Spoodles last year and have never been to WCC, so I was wondering which one I should choose to keep....any advice/reviews would be greatly appreciated..

Spoodles!! The food is good and u dont have to worry about someone trying to embarrass you while you eat...a la Whispering Canyon

Spoodles probably has better food, at least that is the conventional wisdom.

WCC is more 'fun', though it may not be your thing. I've been to WCC and didn't see anyone get embarrassed or hassled who wasn't 'asking' for it. But maybe that happens. I'd guess that 50's prime time is way worse in the getting hassled department.

I've never eaten at either, but after reading many reviews, we decided on Spoodles rather than WC.

We really like both. Depends on what you want for that day. Spoodles is more grown-up and better food. WC is okay food, but lots of fun if you don't tak yourself too seriously.

We like to try at least one new place per trip... It keeps things interesting.... You might want to consider the WCC because it would be something new....

We really enjoy WCC.... The atmosphere is fun and lively...The menu is small and the food is simple...But the food they do have is good...This place is not fancy at all...It is a fun experience in a beautiful setting (the WL I mean) and the food is all-American....And I think for as many bad reviews, there are good reviews...Many people love this place for a reason....Just go in knowing you are not going something fancy and the food is not going to blow you away... But it is good and lots of fun.

Since you have already tried Spoodles why not give WCC a try. We have enjoyed meals at both over the years.

I love the bbq platter at whispering canyon. plus the atmosphere is get espcially for kids.

We really weren't that thrilled with WCC, although it wasn't bad. I just didn't see why all the hype. The food was only OK, the service we received the first time was only OK and not great the second time, and the atmsophere didn't live up to what people said (maybe it was just our timing?). We like Spoodles, though. Good service, good food--something for everyone.
