I was just reading my copy of the Unofficial Guide to WDW 2008, and they list (page 420) Spoodles on the "WDW Buffets and Family Style Restaurants" chart. I've never been to Spoodles, but those of you who have -- is it a family style place? In other words, do servers bring out platters of food for your whole party to eat like they do at Whispering Canyon or 'Ohana?

I was just there in August and it was definitely not family-style but it was family-friendly. Also, the lobster ravioli (listed as a special) was fantastic.

I was there in April and it wasn't family style. It was really good there.:thumbsup2

The original plan for Spoodles was to have it be sort-of like family style, the plates were tapas style and meant for everyone at the table to share. Guests did not get the idea and it was switched to regular style but there are some plates that are meant to be shared.

Last time was there with an extened family group, ages 2-60 something and we all enjoyed! Lots of kids and families...As I recall, there was a magician strolling around too?
