Hi all - just back and wanted to let all the Spoodles breakfast lovers out there know that they have changed their menu and unfortunately it's for the worse. Everything that made Spoodles different and delicious is now gone from their menu - bread pudding, breakfast flatbreads, chorizo sausage, moroccan pancakes, 'the Italian', vegetable rotollo - all gone. It's just your basic american breakfast joint now - eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. I was really looking forward to the bread pudding and boy, was I disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the food is still of good quality, but if you're not staying at the Boardwalk, it's definitely not worth a special trip to Spoodles anymore. So sad.

This was our most disappointing breakfast and we will not go back! Just nothing special at all!!!

That's a huge bummer!!! We always loved Spoodles for breakfast. It was a nice change from typical breakfast stuff for us that like to have variety and they still offered plain 'ole eggs and bacon for the picky ones in our group.

Guess we won't be heading there this trip. I was actually going to take my little one over to eat and meet my DH later at Epcot. Guess I won't anymore!

Oh no!!!! What a dissapointment.

My husband and I were just surfing the DIS together and he just walked away...I heard him mururing something about "where are we going to eat for breakfast?"

Bum deal! This was one of our favorite things about "going home" to BWV. Well, they'd better not lay a hand on the Cinnamon Yummies at the BW Bakery!

Thanks for saving us a trip on our next visit, KCritter.

Oh, I just heard him say "is nothing sacred?" He's bummed.

Here we go! Why??? First they take away my "Bonfamille" and now we mess up the Spoodle's breakfast menu. What next, fast food at the top of the Contemporary? :(

Wow, that was a great and memorable breakfast! Bummer!

Is there any particular person one could address our concerns to? It would really be nice if we could learn why changes like this happen! Unless we were in the minority...

I may be the only dissenting voice on this but if it's true, I'm glad. I thought the new menu was not a good replacement for the buffet.

Now only if the buffet comes back!

WHAT A BUMMER!!!

I cannot believe they would go and ruin a great restaurant for breakfast. We ate there in Dec. for the first time for breakfast and just loved it because it was so different. Who want's the same old thing. Maybe they felt that they would draw a larger crowd with t he same boring menus and everyplace else. I know we will not be making a special trip over for breakfast on our next trip.

Yeah, we were a bit disappointed when we went 2 weeks ago .. but that French toast is just as yummy! The eggs and sasuage were very good too. We did miss the bread pudding.:(

But, please. don't stay away. I thought it was great! It is still Spoodle's with the great decor and the friendly staff.

Sorry, I go to restaurants for the food. Not the atmosphere and friendly CM's. That can be found just about anywhere at WDW.

It makes me sad to see this happen to a great restaurant. We used to go at least twice every trip when they had the breakfast buffet. We stopped when that went away. I'm sorry to hear it's even worse now. Guess we won't ever be returning (for breakfast). Maybe this will really tank and they'll have to bring back the buffet?

When did the menu change...this is not good. Do they still have the all you can eat platter and the breakfast pizza?

We did not miss the buffet at all...the food coming out of the kitchen hot and fresh was excellent.

Webray - they still have the all you can eat platter, but it's just basic fare like eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes - stuff you can get at any WDW restaurant. All of the unique items like the bread pudding, chorizo and vegetable rotollo have been taken off the menu. The breakfast pizzas have been taken off the menu too.

Our server said that they had a new chef and she changed the menu.

Oh No!!!! The all-you-can-eat Mediterranean Feast was our new favorite breakfast!!! I'm so disappointed! I think I will send a letter to their new chef, expressing my disappointment.
