Long story short: we had planned to go to Paris at the end of April. Life happened. We canceled everything. Now we're considering rebooking with 9 days notice. What pitfalls do we have to worry about? The idea is to book the hotel (Marvel) through the Disney Paris website, then grab our flights via the airline's websit. Passports are ready to go. Not sure how to get from airport to the park - probably train?

What am I missing?

You are missing nothing.
Paris is not that difficult as WDW.
Hotel, tickets, transport are a must, the rest is a bonus.

If you want to do table service, see what you can get or check at guest services on the day off if anything has opened up.
