Sponsor and room discount

Hi everyone! I've read the beginning of this thread however not all of it so sorry if this has been asked already. When we get our AP's, would we be able to get the room discount for that same trip? Say if we did the sponsorship program or would we have to buy them over the phone before we arrived? Something tells me we would have to wait until the trip after that to take advantage of the room only discount...I hope I don't sound to cheap but every penny counts .

Re your query regarding getting room discount I suspect that your existing booking will not be able to be changed retrospectively

Thank you Cyrano. We don't have a booking yet, I was just wondering if we could still get the room discount if we bought the AP's the day we arrived. Like if Disney would refund us the 10% since the room has to be paid in full before we arrive. Unless that's only a package that has to paid in full..whoops maybe I'm wrong there and we can get both the sponsorship discount and the room only discount . Would be nice!

When we booked for our sept trip i booked room only with the AP discount without the AP, i think alot of people have problems doing this so i would keep phoning until you gte a helpful CM. We then brough our AP's on our first day

Thank you Mrs. Stonfiesta! A trip is costly for us because of our flights so any little bit helps! I will give it a proper try when the time comes but I'm glad it worked for you !
